Hearties, everywhere, rejoice! During a “Christmas Above the Clouds” presentation this past weekend, Hallmark Channel announced the news When Calls the Heart (WCTH) fans have been waiting for.
A premiere date for Season 13! In fact, stars Kevin McGarry (Nathan Grant) and Erin Krakow (Elizabeth Thornton) were on hand for the big promo announcement and were dressed up as the characters.
Wait … What? A New Moustache?
While the WCTH Season 13 premiere date is big, what’s even bigger is that in the preview, McGarry was sporting a moustache!
With a play on words, the WCTH promo opens with McGarry stating, “This season, Nathan has a big question he mustache Elizabeth.”
Then Krakow pipes up and states, “Or does Elizabeth have a big question she mustache Nathan?” McGarry goes on to say, “So, we mustache that you don’t miss this all-new season.”
At the end of the promo, it’s revealed that the Hallmark Channell series is slated to premiere in January 2026.
A Wedding On The Horizon?
Was the WCTH promo a way to alert fans to the premiere date, but also foreshadow a possible engagement and wedding to come?
The Season 12 cliffhanger showed Nathan and Elizabeth leaving Hope Valley to help her son, Jack Thornton Jr. (Hyland Goodrich) with his diabetes diagnosis.
Nathan’s daughter, Allie Grant (Jaeda Lily Miller), also went along, so as the foursome unite as a family, will Nathan and Elizabeth also decide to take the next step in their romance together and tie the knot?
This would be the best news ever for Hearties! Even better than realizing that the show will kick off its next season earlier in 2026 rather than later!
While Season 12 did debut in January of this year, past seasons have premiered in March. Now, fans wait to get an “exact” debut date as they eagerly anticipate the stories that are set to unfold.
