MAGGIE KIRIAKIS AND JULIE WILLIAMS’S TUESDAY REMINISCING SESSION IS GOING TO BE A CLIP SHOW GOLDMINE—EXPECT TEARS, VICTOR MENTIONS, AND PROBABLY DOUG’S GHOST

TL;DR: Tuesday’s Days of Our Lives spoilers say Maggie Kiriakis and Julie Williams will reminisce, which is soap opera code for “settle in for a clip show.” It’s the 60th anniversary week, so expect flashbacks to Mickey, Victor, Doug, and every tear-jerking moment from Salem’s past.

DAYS Spoilers: The 60th Anniversary Clip Show Train Has Left The Station

If you watched Monday’s episode, you already know where this is going.

Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Marie Horton (Maree Cheatham) spent Monday spilling DECADES of Horton family tea to Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) for their film project. We got the Bill/Laura/Mickey love triangle drama, Marie’s confession about falling for her amnesiac brother Tommy, and enough family secrets to fill a Horton family encyclopedia.

Now on Tuesday, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and Julie will “reminisce.” Translation: Break out the tissues because we’re about to watch 30 minutes of flashback clips while these two legendary ladies cry about their dearly departed husbands.

And honestly? We’re here for it. Because we miss their husbands, too!

Maggie And Julie: The Grief Support Queens Of Salem

Back in September, Maggie and Julie attended grief support meetings together and had one of the most emotionally devastating conversations in recent DAYS history.

Julie remembered that Maggie marks Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) passing by his funeral date since she didn’t know exactly when his plane crashed. Maggie confided that she continued going to grief counseling for Mickey Horton (John Clarke) even after she married Victor because the sessions helped her confront the guilt she felt for moving on.

Julie, on the other hand, declared she intended to keep “only” Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) in her heart “forever.”

So when these two get together to reminisce on Tuesday, it’s going to be an EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER. Expect clips of Mickey and Maggie’s greatest hits, Victor and Maggie’s love story, and every single Doug and Julie moment that ever made you sob into your couch cushions.

What Will Maggie And Julie Actually Talk About?

Given that it’s the 60th anniversary week and the show is clearly in nostalgia mode, here’s what we’re predicting Maggie and Julie will reminisce about:

Mickey Horton: Maggie’s first husband and the love of her life. Expect clips of their wedding, their struggles, and Mickey’s heartbreaking death in 2010.

Victor Kiriakis: Maggie’s second great love who died in that plane crash. We’ll probably see clips of Victor and Maggie’s wedding, their family moments with the Kiriakis clan, and maybe that time Victor gave Maggie those iconic red shoes.

Doug Williams: Julie’s soulmate who passed away in 2024. Get ready for clips of Doug and Julie’s legendary romance, their musical performances, and every tender moment that made them one of daytime’s greatest couples.

Their Friendship: Maggie and Julie have been friends for DECADES. They’ve supported each other through addiction, loss, family drama, and everything in between. This reminiscing session will highlight their bond.

Why This Clip Show Actually Makes Sense (And Why We’re Not Mad About It)

Look, we know clip shows can be divisive. Some fans love the nostalgia trip, while others want new content.

But here’s the thing: It’s the 60th anniversary week. If there’s EVER a time to look back at Salem’s history, it’s now.

Plus, Maggie and Julie are the PERFECT characters to anchor this reminiscing session. Suzanne Rogers has been on the show since 1973. Susan Seaforth Hayes has been part of the DAYS family since 1968. These women ARE the show’s history.

And let’s be real—after the chaos of Thomas getting injured, Cat and Chad’s drama, and all the EJ lab experiments, we could use a breather episode that reminds us why we fell in love with this show in the first place.

The Doug Williams Factor: Will Julie Dance With His Photo Again?

Remember that gut-wrenching scene from September where Julie danced with Doug’s photograph and held it to her heart during a musical montage?

Yeah, we’re still not over it.

There’s a very good chance Tuesday’s reminiscing session will include similar moments. Julie might pull out old photos, share stories about Doug’s kindness and humor, or simply break down crying while talking about how much she misses him.

And we’ll all be crying right along with her because Doug Williams’s death hit DIFFERENT. Bill Hayes was a daytime legend, and his passing in January 2024 left a massive hole in the DAYS universe.

Maggie’s Loneliness At The Kiriakis Mansion

One detail from the September grief support episode that’s worth noting: Maggie told Julie she felt lonely at the Kiriakis mansion because everyone who lived there was either busy, had moved out, or was out of town.

That loneliness is probably going to come up again on Tuesday.

Maggie’s children are scattered. Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) are dealing with their own drama. The rest of the Kiriakis clan is wrapped up in various storylines. Maggie is rattling around that giant mansion with nothing but Victor’s portrait and her memories.

So when she sits down with Julie to reminisce, it’s going to be HEAVY. These two women have lost so much, and they’re leaning on each other to get through it.

What About The Other Tuesday Spoilers?

While Maggie and Julie take their nostalgic trip down memory lane, the rest of Salem will be dealing with actual plot movement:

Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) returns to Salem. This is huge because Sami’s arrival kicks off Wednesday’s baby shower for Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens), and baby Trey.

Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) confides in Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo). Probably about his feelings for Chloe Lane or his ongoing rivalry with Xander.

Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) threatens Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). This is a continuation of Monday’s hospital drama where Jennifer confronted Chad about his relationship with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) after Thomas got injured.

EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) comforts Cat. Which is WEIRD considering EJ is probably running experiments in his secret hospital lab to bring Stefano DiMera back from the dead.

Drop your predictions in the comments! Will Maggie and Julie’s reminiscing make you cry? And what’s your favorite Doug and Julie or Mickey and Maggie moment?
