David And Shona’s Devastating News

Following a heated argument with Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) at the precinct, David is furious and pushes past him, resulting in his arrest for assaulting a police officer.
Consequently, he misses picking up Shona for her scan, but Kit eventually agrees to drive him there. The Platts look at the monitor with love, but the sonographer delivers distressing news – the baby has a mass on her neck.
The Baby May Have Cancer
Later in the week, a special episode showcases David and Shona’s experience as they get ready to meet the consultant about their unborn child. From Shona’s perspective, we witness her struggle as David remains nonchalant.
She tells him to leave the car and insists she doesn’t want him at the hospital, not realizing he is trying to be strong for both of them.
The consultant confirms the tumor’s presence and explains that if Shona chooses to continue the pregnancy, she will need complex surgery. The couple is left in shock when they learn their daughter might have cancer.
Carla’s Suspicions
Carla has the uncanny ability to see directly through the deceptive behavior of Becky. Meanwhile, Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) starts to question whether Becky is being completely truthful about the supposed spying at her own flat.
This leads Lisa to feel quite offended, as it strikes her that her wife may lack trust in her. In a crucial moment, Carla decides to inform Lisa about Becky’s lies, emphasizing that if Becky were truly in danger, she wouldn’t risk Betsy Swain’s (Sydney Martin) safety.
However, unbeknownst to everyone, Becky is secretly listening in on their discussion, which adds tension to the developing drama.
Fiz Falls Apart
Meanwhile, Fiz is having a tough time while her husband Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) is recovering: Tyrone tries to mediate a fight between Ruby Dobbs (Billie Naylor) and Hope Dobbs (Isabella Flanagan).
Fiz loses her composure at work and begins hitting her sewing machine out of frustration. She then confesses to Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston), Kirk Sutherland (Andrew Whyment), and Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) that she feels overwhelmed and is having a hard time.
The following day, Michael accidentally reveals to Ty about Fiz’s outburst-eager to support his family again, Tyrone suggests he should work in the garage office.
However, Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) isn’t doing well after his split from Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) and says he won’t be opening the business- he’s going straight back to bed.

The Driscoll family attempts to guide Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) towards a better path. Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) believes that James Bailey (Jason Callender) might be the solution to help Will adjust, by arranging for him to participate in some personal training sessions.
It quickly becomes apparent that the teenager has no interest and prefers to concentrate on his phone.
Later on, Will informs Eva and Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) that he is going to Leeds for a meeting with his former athletics team, but he is not being truthful.
Coach Megan (uncredited) drives him home, and Ben insists on treating her to lunch at the pub-Will appears visibly upset, but will he disclose the reason behind it?

Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) makes a significant error in front of his sister’s social worker. Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty) has been battling behind bars and is now in court.
Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) and Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) choose not to inform Brody, but Kit exposes them, leading him to lash out and accuse them of preventing him from supporting his estranged mother.
He calls them ineffective foster parents, only to be taken aback when he realizes that Joanie and her social worker have overheard the entire conversation.
