Former Days of Our Lives cast member Chrishell Stause took to made a shocking announcement this week during an interview regarding her career and current TV show.

Chrishell Stause appeared as Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives from 2013-2021. Salem fans were thrilled by the new addition to the cast and a lot of soap viewers recognized the actress from her time on All My Children as Amanda Dillon (2006-2011).
Netflix Selling Sunset Loses Fan Favorite
After Chrishell left the soap opera scene, things got interesting. The DOOL actress actually married former The Young And The Restless star Justin Hartley (Adam Newman), although they didn’t last super long.
Some fans think it was Chrishell’s new success on Netflix that played a part in their divorce. Then Stause dipped her toe in the reality TV scene and hit gold.
Stause appeared on the Netflix reality series “Selling Sunset” in 2019, the show follows an elite group of real estate agents at Oppenheim Group that deal with upper-class properties and estates.
The soap actress appeared on nine seasons before announcing this week that she had left the Selling Sunset.
During her Bustle interview, Chrishell explained why she was leaving. The real estate agent stated, “I’ve gotten to a place where I don’t need the show financially. I’m lucky to have other forms of employment, because it’s no longer good for my mental health.”
Chrishell Stause Walks Away
After all the cast drama last season, it’s easy to see why Chrishell has decided to step away. But, it sounds like the whole show could be in jeopardy. Netflix hasn’t even announced whether or not they are renewing the show for a tenth season.
Now that Chrishell has made it official that she won’t be coming back, she hinted that the future of the show could be up in the air all together.
