The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) is now in the catbird seat when it comes to her foe Audra “Cortez” Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
She finally weaseled Holden Novak’s (Nathan Owens) secret about Audra out of him, and boy is it a doozy. With the intel she now has, Claire could send Audra to a place warmer than Death Valley in July.
Claire Knows What Audra’s Hiding
After sleeping with Claire, Holden told her the awful truth about himself and Audra. Once upon a time in LA, he was a bartender at The Shadow Room where Audra stole a wallet with a cashier’s check for half a million dollars. Bad girl.
Audra ran away, changed her last name from Cortez to Charles, and gave $100,000 to Holden as his reward for not snitching.
With a flip of the wrist, Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) investigative team could find out the victim’s identity like that, allowing Claire to blackmail the beotch. Or, at the very least, Claire could make Audra squirm for the rest of her life!
Claire Now Has the Power Over Audra
How will Claire twist the knife: by calling her “Audra Cortez” or maybe cooly mentioning that half a million is a nice, round number? Either way, we can’t wait for Audra’s comeuppance!
Maybe Claire acts like she knows the mark’s name or has sicced Victor’s people to find even more dirt on her.
How Will Audra React to Being Exposed?
This could be the one thing that prompts Audra to pack her bags and leave GC for greener pastures. Then again, her old beau, Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), is back in town and we predict there will be more fireworks there.
