Beyond The Gates spoilers and updates for November sweeps reveal Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) moves on and, Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) reacts. And it’s wedding bells for Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) and Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) and a new character debuts played by Days of Our Lives and General Hospital alumni Greg Vaughan.
Ted Moves On-But Not With Leslie!
The latest soap opera to hit the scene is also the most adept at catching us off guard and providing a real shock. Fortunately, we’re somewhat ready for the relationship that’s about to shake Fairmont Crest to its core.
As Ted starts to let go and acknowledges that his marriage to Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) is genuinely over, he’ll find himself drawn to his colleague at Garland Memorial, Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson).
While Nicole may wish her ex-husband the best, one person who will not only be taken aback by the budding romance but also infuriated by it is Leslie.
Eva Thomas’s (Ambyr Michelle) mother sees herself as the future Mrs. Ted Richardson, so when she discovers that Shanice has stepped in, she’ll blow all of her many wigs!
Wedding Bells For Derek And Ashley
It looks like there will finally be wedding bells for Derek and Ashley, as she’s accepted the engagement ring he unceremoniously dropped on the floor he’d meant to stay hidden.
But Derek’s been keeping some secrets, and he’s been wisely advised by Shanice, his physical therapist, that he should come clean to Ashley.
Following his injury in which he was paralyzed, he’s been getting some feelings in his legs, and it’s been increasing. Now he can even stand to his feet, although he didn’t want to completely reveal this to Ashley, hoping to make it a surprise.
The week of November 3, Ashley will make a stunning discovery when she discovers her fiancé standing up on his own two feet!
Greg Vaughan Joins The CBS Soap As A Mystery Character
In early October of this year, it was revealed that the Days of Our Lives and General Hospital star would join BTG. Vaughan played Lucky Spencer on GH from 2003 to 2009 before taking on the role of Eric Brady on DOOL from 2012 to 2024.
It’s important to note that although Eric left Salem in the summer of 2024 to go to Paris with his on-screen partner, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), the character has made some returns to the storylines.
Furthermore, since DOOL is filmed well in advance, fans can look forward to seeing Eric back on screen in November for the show’s major 60th anniversary celebrations.
This allows fans to enjoy Greg on DOOL as well as on BTG. Although the exact character name hasn’t been revealed, Greg should make his first appearance in December.
