BETH SPENCER ASKED TO MARRY HER OWN PARENTS AND HOPE LOGAN AND LIAM SPENCER ACTUALLY SAID YES
TL;DR: Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal Beth Spencer asked to officiate her parents’ wedding on Wednesday, October 30, and Hope Logan and Liam Spencer agreed! After getting engaged for the FOURTH time, Hope and Liam are letting their young daughter legally marry them. This is either the cutest thing ever or the most questionable parenting decision on daytime TV!
Beth Spencer Declared “I Want To Marry My Mommy And Daddy!”
On Wednesday’s episode of Bold and the Beautiful, Hope Logan and Liam Spencer were discussing their wedding plans when Beth appeared in a potential dress for the ceremony. The family was expressing their excitement when the conversation turned to who should officiate.
That’s when Beth chirped, “I think it should be me!”
Yes. This CHILD wants to officiate her parents’ FOURTH wedding. And honestly? The confidence! The ambition! This kid saw an opportunity and went for it!
Hope and Liam were understandably touched but tried to gently explain why she couldn’t officiate. But Beth wasn’t having it. She INSISTED she wants to marry her mommy and daddy. And instead of continuing to explain the legal and logistical reasons why a child can’t officiate a wedding, Hope and Liam just… agreed!
They’re actually letting Beth officiate their wedding! Their FOURTH wedding! A child is going to legally bind these two in matrimony! What could possibly go wrong?!
Hope Logan And Liam Spencer’s Parenting Choices Are… Interesting
Look, we get it. Beth is adorable. She’s excited about her parents getting back together. And Hope and Liam want to include her in this special moment since it’s really about putting their family back together. Those are all valid reasons to let your kid participate in your wedding.
But making her the OFFICIANT? The person legally responsible for marrying you? That’s… a choice. A very Bold and the Beautiful choice, but a choice nonetheless!
How is this even going to work? Does Beth have to get ordained online? Is she going to memorize the entire ceremony? What happens if she gets nervous and forgets her lines? Will there be a backup officiant standing by just in case?
And let’s be real—this is Hope and Liam’s FOURTH attempt at marriage. Maybe they should have gone with someone with a little more experience officiating weddings. Like literally anyone who has successfully kept a couple married for longer than a season!
B&B fans, I need your opinions! Is letting Beth officiate the cutest idea ever or the most questionable parenting decision? Will this wedding actually happen? And what are the chances Beth accidentally marries them to the wrong people? Email your thoughts to [email protected]!
Carter Walton Is Definitely NOT Officiating
Here’s a fun detail: Hope personally told Carter Walton about her engagement to Liam. And it’s “safe to say he won’t be officiating.” OUCH.
Carter has had feelings for Hope, and watching her run back to Liam (AGAIN) has got to sting. So Hope made sure to tell him herself rather than let him find out through the Forrester grapevine. At least she was considerate about that!
Carter told Daphne Rose that he’s “happy for them putting their family back together” and that he’s “looking to the future and new beginnings.” Translation: Carter is NOT okay but is trying to be mature about it.
Carter even tried to kiss Daphne, and she turned her cheek! The man can’t catch a break! He’s processing his feelings about Hope, trying to move on, and getting rejected by other women. Poor Carter deserves better than this mess!
So yeah, Carter definitely won’t be officiating this wedding. But Beth will! Because that makes total sense in Bold and the Beautiful logic!
This Is Hope And Liam’s FOURTH Wedding
Can we talk about how this is Hope and Liam’s FOURTH attempt at marriage? They’ve been married three times already. THREE TIMES. And now they’re going for round four with their daughter as the officiant.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Hope and Liam have proven they can’t make marriage work long-term. They’ve tried! Multiple times! It never sticks!
But sure, let’s throw a child officiant into the mix. Maybe THAT’S what was missing from marriages one, two, and three. Maybe all they needed was Beth standing there in a cute dress reading vows she probably doesn’t fully understand. That’ll definitely make this marriage last!
We’re being sarcastic, obviously. But seriously—what are Hope and Liam thinking? This wedding is going to be adorable and chaotic and probably doomed from the start. But hey, at least it’ll be memorable!
Beth Spencer Thinks This Will Be “The Best Wedding Ever!”
After Hope and Liam agreed to let Beth officiate, she declared this is going to be “the best wedding ever!” And you know what? From Beth’s perspective, she’s probably right! She gets to wear a fancy dress, stand at the front of the ceremony, and “marry” her parents. For a kid, that’s pretty much a dream come true!
Beth has been wanting her parents back together, so this wedding represents her family being whole again. The fact that she gets to be the one to make it official (legally questionable though it may be) probably makes her feel important and included in a really meaningful way.
Plus, can you imagine the photos? Little Beth Spencer standing between Hope and Liam, holding whatever officiant materials they give her, looking adorable while legally binding two adults in matrimony? That’s going to be a framed photo on Brooke’s mantle for YEARS.
Assuming this wedding actually happens, of course. Given Hope and Liam’s track record, we’re not holding our breath!
Will This Wedding Actually Happen?
Here’s the real question: Will Hope and Liam actually make it down the aisle this time? Or will something (or someone—cough Steffy cough) derail this wedding before Beth gets her moment as officiant?
Bold and the Beautiful has a history of interrupted weddings, called-off ceremonies, and dramatic last-minute revelations. Hope and Liam’s previous wedding attempts have been derailed by lies, betrayals, and misunderstandings. What makes anyone think the fourth time will be different?
And now they’ve added the variable of a child officiant! What if Beth gets cold feet? What if she decides mid-ceremony that actually, she wants her parents to marry OTHER people? What if she accidentally says something that reveals a secret nobody knew about?
The possibilities for chaos are ENDLESS. And honestly? We’re here for all of it. Let Beth officiate! Let this wedding be as adorable and absurd as possible! Give us the content we deserve, B&B!
What do you think happens at Hope and Liam’s wedding? Will Beth actually get to officiate? Will this marriage last longer than the previous three? And is anyone else worried about the legal logistics here? Drop all your predictions in the comments!
