TL;DR: There isn’t anyone young and restless on Young and the Restless, but there is on Beyond the Gates, and that Young lady is the 16-year-old Samantha Richardson Smith. She’s pretty and great at school, but needs to be sent to the school of young love. If you still need a reason to tune into Beyond the Gates after abusing your fast-forward button during Young and the Restless, this article is for you!!

Who is seriously young and restless on The Young and the Restless? The answer is no one. The only person who is young and restless on CBS is Samantha Richardson Smith (Najah Jackson). Samantha is 16 and restless, and she is actually on Beyond the Gates, but Najah Jackson, who portrays her, is 30 years old.
No wonder Samantha is going gangbusters trying to date and more on BTG. Najah must have some experience in that area. Samantha on BTG, however, does not have a clue.
Samantha Richardson Smith Attends the School of Sex-Ed by Aunt Kat Richardson
Too bad Samantha’s Aunt Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) didn’t get a heads up, she was teaching sex-ed to her only niece and now junior business associate. Kat feels horrible about what she accidently shared with Samantha when talking girl talk with her bestie/cousin/business partner, Chelsea Hamilton (Rhonni Rose Mantilla) at Uptown.
Chelsea told Kat not to worry about it, but she didn’t have on her trendsetting Bingo card that Samantha would rush home to try to sex her main squeeze on her family’s living room couch. Also, neither Chelsea nor Kat had on their Bingo card for Kat’s brother/ one of Samantha’s dads, Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon), would find a condom wrapper, let alone learn that Samantha accidently attended Kat’s version of Sex-Ed.

It’s the worst Halloween ever for Samantha on Beyond the Gates. Too bad it’s ALL her fault. SHE invited Nathan over to smash him. SHE started it on the family couch in their living room. SHE was supposed to be at school.
Now Samantha wants to move in with her grandmother, Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix). Where was all her love for Nicole when she needed girl talk a couple of weeks back? Of all of the women in her orbit, she sought out her bio-mom, June (Jasmine Burke), whom she had just learned about and met. What in the what? Someone please help Samantha Richardson Smith make sense.
