Phyllis Summers Is Playing Chess While Everyone Else Plays Checkers
Okay, we need to talk about Phyllis Summers because this woman is operating on a level of scheming that’s honestly impressive. On Monday’s episode of Young and the Restless, Phyllis waltzed into Victor Newman’s ranch and casually announced, “I’ve stolen Cane’s AI program.” Then she asked if he wanted to make a deal.
Victor, being Victor, was immediately intrigued. Phyllis showed him proof that she had the program AND that it was already targeted at Jabot Cosmetics. Victor’s eyes probably turned into dollar signs right there. After some off-screen negotiating, Victor agreed to her terms. They have a deal!
But here’s where it gets DELICIOUS: Phyllis convinced Cane that someone else (probably Victor) stole the AI. So Cane thinks he’s the victim here while Phyllis is literally the one who stabbed him in the back!
Victor Newman And Phyllis Summers’ Diabolical Plan For Jack Abbott
So what exactly IS this deal between Phyllis and Victor? Hold onto your hats, folks, because it’s beautifully evil. Phyllis gives Victor the AI program. Victor uses it to take control of Jabot from Jack Abbott. Then—and this is the chef’s kiss moment—Victor hands Jabot over to Phyllis!
That’s right. Phyllis is using Victor to do her dirty work, getting revenge on Jack (who apparently screwed her over when she ran Jabot), AND positioning herself to own the company. It’s diabolical. It’s messy. It’s absolutely peak Phyllis energy and we are LIVING for it!
Victor even admitted to Adam and Chelsea that Phyllis doesn’t want to get her hands dirty—she’d rather he handle the destruction. And he’s “happy to oblige” because it means crushing Jack Abbott. It’s a win-win for these two schemers!
Cane Ashby Has NO IDEA He’s Being Played
The absolute best part of this whole situation? Cane thinks he and Phyllis are on the same team! She’s convinced him that Victor is the one who stole the AI and will use it to attack Arabesque (Cane’s company). Cane is worried, suspicious, and trying to figure out who betrayed him…while Phyllis sits right there LYING TO HIS FACE.
But wait, it gets better! Cane is starting to suspect Phyllis might be playing him. He’s questioning her story, probing to find out what she’s hiding, and straight-up accused her of being “in bed” with someone else. Phyllis, of course, denied everything while looking totally guilty.
Then—THEN!—these two started FLIRTING. Cane called Phyllis “one of the most baffling, exasperating, and fascinating women he’s ever known.” He made jokes about ending up “flat on his back” with her. And Phyllis purred that she “can think of worse positions he could be in with her.”
PHYLLIS. You are BETRAYING this man and you’re FLIRTING with him?! The audacity! The nerve! The absolute CHAOS of it all!

Meanwhile, Jack and Billy are in full panic mode. Jack suspects Victor has the AI and will come after Jabot. He ALSO suspects Victor had help…from Phyllis. But instead of treating her like the enemy, Jack wants Billy to reach out to Phyllis and offer her “anything she wants” to be on their side.
Billy is weirdly flattered that Jack came to him for help (these Abbott brothers have ISSUES). He’s convinced he can tell if Phyllis is hiding something and thinks he can bring her over to their side. Good luck with that, Billy! Phyllis is already three steps ahead of everyone, making deals and plotting world domination!
Jack is so worried about protecting his father’s legacy and keeping Jabot safe. Little does he know that Phyllis has already set the wheels in motion to take EVERYTHING from him. She’s not coming for Jabot—she IS Jabot’s future owner if this plan works!
Young and the Restless Set Up The Ultimate Genoa City Showdown
This storyline is setting up for an EPIC confrontation. When Jack finds out Phyllis is behind the cyberattack, he’s going to lose his mind. When Cane discovers Phyllis betrayed and manipulated him, there will be hell to pay. When Lily finds out what happened to Cane (and she will), she’s going to be devastated.
And Phyllis? She’ll probably just smile, pour herself a glass of wine, and enjoy watching the chaos unfold. Because that’s what Phyllis does. She burns bridges, creates enemies, and somehow always lands on her feet.
The only question is whether Victor will actually keep his word and hand Jabot over to Phyllis once he’s taken control. This IS Victor Newman we’re talking about. Does anyone really believe he’ll just give away a company to Phyllis Summers? We have our doubts!
