General Hospital spoilers reveal Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is clearly trying to figure out how she’s going to have a baby without destroying her family.
So far, there hasn’t been the slightest inkling that Portia isn’t going to keep this pregnancy. So I’m trending toward thinking she is pressuring herself to decide who she wants to be the baby’s father, rather than finding out who the baby’s father is.
If that sounds completely ridiculous, that’s because it is, but Portia is a big fan of doctoring lab tests and lying about her child’s paternity. So the fans won’t be one bit surprised if she lies about this baby the same way she did about Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Last time, she never knew who the father was and kept that secret to herself. When Portia got pregnant with Trina, she never saw Curtis again for two decades. It was easy to hide.
This time, she’ll be forced to when two men are in the picture who will both take interest in her new bump. In other words, she’s going to be forced to come out with the truth at some point, and we’re not sure Trina is going to take it well given all she’s been through in the name of protecting her mother.
General Hospital Spoilers — An Affair to Remember
Portia is going to have a hard time wiggling out of this one. Sure, she could fix the lab tests and claim Curtis is the father of this baby, but how would she explain that to Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).
He’s already aware of her scheming ways, and he doesn’t strike me as the type who won’t want to see the proof for himself — or even have an independent test done elsewhere, say, not at the hospital Portia runs.
On the flipside, Portia doesn’t actually want to continue her marriage with Curtis; she appears more interested in Isaiah now.
So she could fix the test so that Isaiah is the father even if it’s not true. This would cement him in her life though, and she may come to regret that down the line; she really doesn’t know Isaiah all that well yet.
GH Spoilers Leak Trina is Harboring Her Own Secret
Little does Portia know, Trina has a huge secret of her own that she wasn’t planning on sharing with anybody. Don’t get me wrong, she wants to.
She wishes she could tell both of her parents that she and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) broke into Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house and took back the evidence he was using to blackmail Portia.
Trina has no idea that Portia already knows she’s in the clear, even if she doesn’t understand why.
Learning that their daughter was present during that shooting could open up a whole new can of worms, so Trina has kept her lips zipped when it comes to her parents. But how will she feel when she learns what her mother has been up to — destroying their family?
General Hospital Spoilers — The Fallout Will Be Disastrous
Trina is already heartbroken that her parents have decided to get a divorce, and it’s likely she’s angling for ways to reverse that decision.
Learning that her mother is pregnant with another man’s child will certainly make that seem impossible though, and it may leave a bitter taste in Trina’s mouth. This whole time,
Trina has been fighting to protect her family while Portia appears to have been throwing it away. Will she throw it in her face what she’s done for her?
