Curtis Pours His Heart Out To Good Friend Laura Collins
Curtis will pour his heart out to good friend Laura Collins (Genie Francis) after Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) puts her nose where it doesn’t belong.
She deduced that Portia is pregnant, and against Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) advice to stay out of it, she told Curtis anyway, feeling he had the right to know.
Portia not telling him she was pregnant despite their divorce plans, doesn’t make sense to Curtis-nor to Laura, for that matter.
But still fresh in Curtis’ mind was Portia’s doctor friend at GH, the guy that came to town who was Lucky Spencer’s (Jonathan Jackson) friend in Somalia. Also fresh in Curtis’ mind was how inappropriately protective Dr. Gannon was of Portia!
Curtis Really Has No Reason For Jealousy Or Possessiveness
Curtis really has no reason for jealousy or possessiveness, because he’s been the main one pushing for the divorce from Portia-he’s been holding perceived lying against her.
Even though she eventually admitted she’d falsified Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) medical records, which could have gotten her fired, and possibly lose her medical license.
He could understand she had done that to protect their daughter Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), although it was illegal. But the straw that broke the camel’s back as far as he was concerned was something else-something that didn’t even affect him or their relationship directly.
But because Portia didn’t let him in on a secret plan she had against Drew Cain, (Cameron Mathison) he didn’t think he could trust her about anything else!
Curtis Puts Two And Two Together, And Realizes Why Portia’s Keeping Her Pregnancy A Secret
Curtis puts two and two together, and realizes why Portia’s keeping her pregnancy a secret-maybe it’s because the baby isn’t his; on the other hand, maybe it is!
Either way, the thought that Portia may be involved with her doctor friend at work sends his jealousy into overdrive, and now he wants her back! But he’s honestly much more focused on the baby he knows she’s carrying, even though she had denied it to Jordan.
Plus, thanks to Trina walking in on a conversation Portia and Gannon were having, he knows he’s a threat! Curtis goes to GH, and what he has to say isn’t pretty-he confronts Isaiah over his and Portia’s friendship, and tells him five angry words-Stay away from my wife!
