Say it isn’t so! General Hospital spoilers strongly predict that Marcus Coloma might be coming back on the soap. The actor, who was best known for his role as Nikolas Cassadine, hinted on Instagram along with Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) that a comeback might be in the works. And yes, this has gotten the daytime television world talking!
Is Marcus Coloma Coming Back?
As many fans remember, Marcus played Nikolas Cassadine until he was ultimately fired from the show in 2022. He was then replaced by Adam Huss. Yet, it seems like many people are calling for his return as no one seems to play Nikolas as well as Marcus.
While on the That’s Awesome podcast, Marcus said that while he didn’t expect to stay on General Hospital forever, he didn’t think he would leave so quickly.
The actor put it this way, “I was like, I’m going to do it for three years. I want to walk out of this place a better actor. I want to be more confident; I want to be more comfortable on set; I want to try a lot of different things. And I knew I was going to be leaving in three years.”
Once he found out he was fired, he didn’t film any more of his scenes despite the fact that he was in the middle of a huge storyline with Esme Prince and Victor Cassadine.

That, and his character just served his wife Ava Jerome with divorce appears and was dealing with a complicated relationship with his son, Spencer.
Many of Marcus’ fans have opened up about how much they would love to see him back on the canvas. Some have even taken to social media to share comments about the matter.
Now, as far as what will happen on General Hospital remains to be seen as well. Fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out!
