Fire Country recap and spoiler for Friday, October 24 reveal that Bode Leone (Max Thieriot) is out running and keeps thinking about how his dad isn’t there for him to work with.
Bode remembers the pills he has on him and continues to hear voices. The new chief, Brett Richards ( Shawn Hatosy) catches up with him he asked Bode to hike back to the station with him and Bode refuses.
The Three Rock Fire Site
Manny Perez (Kevin Alejandro) and Eve Edwards (Jules Latimer) are with the counsel woman at the 3 Rock fire site. Audrey James (Leven Ramblin) is back and reunites with Bode. A fire call goes out and everyone goes to the station. Richards is there to address the problems at Station 42 and fix them.
It is revealed that Sharon Leone’s (Diane Farr) issue with Richards is that he was the first to know she and Vince were dating. Richards informs everyone that they must go over their 10s and 18s.
Everyone answer as he calls on them. Richards then brings up that Bode’s question is the reason that Vince Leone (ex-Billly Burke) isn’t standing there.
The Fire Fighters Discuss How To Deal With Brett Richards
Bode wants Brett gone. Violet (Nesta Cooper) brings study materials to Jake Crawford (Jordan Calloway). Jake doesn’t know if he plans to stay or leave. Violet is upset with that and tells Jake they need to decide this together. The fire bell rings and everyone is off to a fire. Richards insists on being the incident commander.
Bode is working very hard on this fire. Audrey is catching up on what happened while she was gone. Audrey wants to know if he is okay. Bode tries to convince her that he is fine. Audrey believes there is something else going on. Bode isn’t in the mood for talking right now. Things get more intense and the conversation is dropped.
A Fire Rescue
Janice’s (Tara Wilson) dog leads Bode, Jake and Audrey to a bunch of campers in the forest. Jake needs all of them to pack up and leave. Janice says they cannot move because of a blocked vehicle.
Bode suggests they move the truck so the people can get their vehicles out. Jake tells them to load up he’s giving them fire minutes. The three of them go to move the truck as quickly as possible.
Bode and company try to move the truck. One of the men turn over a grill at the encampment and causes a fires. They get the fire out and Manny discovers where someone is stealing electricity from town. Manny shows Sharon and she follows the line to clip it. Sharon finds someone who seems to have gotten electrocuted.
Things Go From Bad To Worse
Bode helps get the dog in an the vehicle for Janice. Jake is forced to call for backup because the fire has gotten to the encampment.
Richards blames Jake for moving the vehicle first. Richard s says this is Buena Vista all over again. Jake tells him he didn’t make any wrong calls at Buena Vista. Jake calls for more help. Manny and Eve get the injured guy out.
Eve has to fight with him to get them to the hospital but he refuses. Manny says they can claim this guy is intoxicated and make him go.
Bode clears the road and the vehicles finally start to move out. The guy signs a waiver and leaves. Janice doesn’t get out with her car and she wants someone to save her dog. Bode seems almost afraid to go. Jake is okay with Bode saving the dog and he does.
Jake Crawford Decides To Stay
Jake and Violet agree to stay in Edgewater. Violet likes it there and Jake has never decided what he is doing. Violet tells Jake that she’s unpacking her boxes. Jake talks about the camp and how those people are camping out to stay in Edgewater.
Bode tells Audrey that he and Gabi got close again. Audrey leaves and tells Bode when he’s ready to talk to let her know. Manny and Eve arrive and she tells him the bad news about 3 Rock. Richards calls them all in to talk with him again. No one is happy about being there. Brett tells them everything they did wrong.
Bode tells him they helped everyone and no one died. Brett say their loose associations with the rules is what killed Vince. Richards says he is trying to keep them alive. Richards says he is there to keep them alive.
Bode wants Sharon to get rid of Richards and she refuses. Bode gets his pills and pops one of them. Bode spits the pill out and looks at himself in the mirror.
