'General Hospital' Recap October 23: Drew Explodes on Jacinda & Ronnie Faces a Surprise VisitorGeneral Hospital recaps for Thursday, October 23 reveal Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) accused Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) while Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) met Ronnie Bard (Erika Slezak).

Also, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) visited Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) talked with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) house.

Chase And Michael Discussed Willow’s Case In A Steam Room

Chase encountered Michael in the gym’s steam room, where they engaged in a heated discussion about Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) arrest. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

Chase maintained his stance that Willow couldn’t have shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), while Michael argued that he didn’t know their mutual ex as well as he believed.

Chase then noted that many people could have accessed the house to reach Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) gun, including Michael himself.

In response, Michael mentioned that the locks were never changed after Willow left and that he suspected she had been sneaking into the mansion to stalk Daisy Gilmore (Evelyn and Brenden Beimford). Chase seemed offended that Michael would accuse Willow of such a thing.

Chase Accused Michael

Chase, unwilling to accept Michael’s theory, labeled it as malicious, especially since Michael had no proof. Michael countered that the absence of evidence was why he never filed charges, stating he was sharing this with Chase now to show what he thought Willow was capable of.

Still defending Willow, Chase yelled that Michael was more likely to have shot Drew, having both the access and motive, along with the means to protect himself-unlike Willow, who was completely alone. “And that is the definition of injustice,” Chase exclaimed before turning and leaving the steam room.

Cody Met Ronnie

While enjoying tea and sweets, Cody got acquainted with his new boss, Ronnie. Their discussion about his work in the stables and the similarities between Tracy and her difficult horse, Hades, allowed Cody to present Ronnie with a new view of Tracy.

“She can be very generous, she’s fiercely loyal, and she would do anything for those she loves-and she loved your sister,” Cody explained.

They also talked about Drew, with Cody telling Ronnie that the congressman is much worse than the tales she heard from Michael. He also told how Tracy defended Monica when Drew started attacking the family.

Ronnie Was Taken Aback About Tracy’s Arrest For Drugging Drew

Ronnie was taken aback to learn that Tracy had been arrested for drugging Drew with ketamine, but Cody insisted that the congressman was responsible for his own actions and blamed her instead.

He added that if Tracy had drugged Ronnie at the tea party, she would admit it if confronted, and that everything Tracy does is to safeguard her family. Ronnie scoffed at Tracy’s attachment to everything Quartermaine and complained about the family heirlooms she took when she moved out. “She left looking like a walking estate sale,” Ronnie mocked.

When Ronnie mentioned that the movers had forgotten a box, Cody volunteered to take it to Tracy himself.

Brook Lynn Visited Tracy

As Tracy unpacked her belongings at Lulu’s, Brook Lynn showed up, but Tracy slammed the door in her granddaughter’s face. Brook Lynn refused to leave and kept banging on the door until Tracy finally let her in. Still feeling hurt, Tracy asked why Brook Lynn believed someone she hardly knew over her.

Brook Lynn answered that she was aware of what Tracy was capable of. Tracy replied that she wanted everyone to see Ronnie for the fake she is, so she had no reason to drug her.

Brook Lynn Pleaded With Tracy To Apologize To Ronnie

Brook Lynn pleaded with her grandmother to apologize to Ronnie for how she treated her and not to cut herself off from the family.

Having already lost her mother and another grandmother, she didn’t want to lose Tracy as well. Tracy agreed to think about being nicer to Ronnie but wouldn’t apologize for something she didn’t do.

She also had no plans to make Ronnie feel welcome, knowing deep down that Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) didn’t want her sister to have the house.

Brook Lynn Left Frustrated, Cody Dropped Off The Package

Brook Lynn hinted that she couldn’t stay in Lulu’s living room forever. But Tracy insisted that if her family wanted to turn their backs on her for respecting Monica’s wishes, at least she knew she had taken a stand.

Frustrated, Brook Lynn left her grandmother to sit with her pride and her memories, but before leaving, she told Tracy that she loved her and to call her anytime.

Later, Cody arrived at Lulu’s with the box Tracy had forgotten; even though she didn’t want to hear about “the virtues of Saint Ronnie.”

Cody pointed out that he didn’t see much difference between the two, as they were both strong women who don’t let others push them around; “Ronnie’s just nicer about it,” Cody joked.

Gio Met With Lois At Sonny’s

Gio chose to meet Lois, who expressed her disappointment that he had left school and stopped playing the violin.

She pleaded with him to direct his anger towards her-not towards Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Brook Lynn, or himself-and to keep music in his life, something Camila would have wanted. Gio explained that he was just trying to understand the reality of his life, which was different from what he believed.

With tears in her eyes, Lois took full blame for Brook Lynn being given up for adoption, saying it was the hardest choice she ever made.

It Hurt Gio To Hear Brook Lynn Called His Mom

Gio admitted it pained him to hear Brook Lynn called his mom, as he considered Camila to be his true mother.

Recognizing that Camila Palmieri (uncast) was indeed his mother, Lois assured him she wasn’t trying to take that away.

“Then why does this family want something from me that I can’t give?” Gio whispered, stating that Brook Lynn and Dante were just his biological parents, people he barely knew from his childhood.

“I don’t have a relationship with them, and I’m not sure I want one.” Lois looked hurt to hear it.

Lois Hoped Gio Would Lower His Defenses

After this, Lois expressed her hope that Gio would eventually lower his defenses and encouraged him to keep his heart open to music.

Before heading out to meet his friends, Gio told Lois he realized she was only trying to do what was right back then and inquired about her relationship with Brook Lynn.

When she mentioned that things were still tense between them, Gio expressed his hope that they could mend their relationship in the future.

After Gio left, Lois called Brook Lynn, catching her as she was leaving Lulu’s house. However, when she arrived at Sonny’s, Brook Lynn cautioned her mom that she was uncertain about staying.

Martin Met With Drew At Bobbie’s

At Bobbie’s, Drew informed Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had agreed to represent Willow in return for seeing Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante).

When Martin suggested talking to the judge to lift the restraining orders, Drew advised him to wait, wanting to keep them as leverage.

The Davis women could visit Scout, but not the Quartermaines or Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), Drew added.

Martin remarked that it was unfortunate, as Scout wouldn’t be able to meet her great aunt, but Drew was unsure who he meant.

Martin clarified that the Quartermaines had a new family member to play with, since Monica’s long-lost sister had inherited the estate instead of Michael.

Kristina And Jacinda Met Outside Bobbie’s

Drew was taken aback by this revelation, concluding that Monica had a pattern of excluding him from her life, just as she had with her sister.

Outside the restaurant, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) met Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) and bombarded the escort with questions about her relationship with Michael.

After Kristina detailed the significant changes her brother had experienced lately, Jacinda claimed that Michael was doing well, but Kristina was concerned he was still hurting from losing his wife.

Jacinda asserted that there was nothing serious between her and Michael, but she appreciated Kristina’s protectiveness over her brother.

Drew Accosted Kristina And Jacinda, Threatening Jacinda

Kristina then offered to buy Jacinda a coffee, but once inside, they encountered Drew. He  sarcastically remarked that the police would be interested in hearing about “the meeting of the minds” between Michael’s sister and the escort who had been paid to drug him.

As Kristina and Drew argued, he warned her to consult her mother before she spoke and jeopardized their agreement.

He then advised Jacinda to be careful because he could still file charges against her. Jacinda stood firm and replied that she would gladly explain in court how he used ketamine and then hired her for the night.

Drew Denied Jacinda’s Accusations

Drew attempted to refute the claim, but Jacinda mocked him, saying he was caught and blamed her. He wouldn’t have sent a lawyer to Australia to pay her $50k to stay there if he was after justice.

After throwing Jacinda’s solicitation record at her- which she shrugged off as insignificant-Drew threatened to involve the police, but she replied that she had nothing to conceal.

As Drew continued his outburst, Kristina interrupted him, stating that he was a public official who was caught with an escort and embarrassed himself.

Once outside, Kristina apologized for Drew’s actions and suggested getting coffee elsewhere, but Jacinda requested to postpone it so she could handle something.

Alexis Met With Willow At Pentonville

Alexis visited Pentonville to meet Willow, who was taken aback to find out that she had agreed to be her lawyer.

To be completely transparent with her client, Alexis disclosed that she had made a deal with Drew to represent Willow in return for the family getting visitation rights with Scout. But Danny was not part of the agreement.

Willow vowed to do her best to persuade Drew to remove all the restraining orders and wanted Alexis to defend her because she believed in her innocence, not out of obligation.

Alexis offered Willow the option to decline her help, but she accepted, and they began to work on her defense.

Willow Believed Michael Had Framed Her For Shooting Drew

Willow expressed her belief that Michael had shot Drew and then framed her to keep her away from their children, hoping that Drew would regain his memory of that night.

Alexis cautioned that a sudden recollection in their case would appear suspicious to the court and could be used against them by the prosecution.

She noted they  might argue that Drew fabricated the memory to clear Willow. Willow felt disheartened as she understood that even if Drew remembered, it wouldn’t benefit her case.

Concluding that she had enough information to proceed, Alexis promised to return to see Willow the next day, and the inmate was taken back to her cell.

Chase Visits Willow, Alexis Explains To Kristina

Later, Willow received another visitor: Chase; he informed her that he would keep investigating Drew’s shooting as a private citizen until he could clear her name.

Willow was concerned about him risking his job, but Chase insisted that the department couldn’t prevent him from pursuing the case during his personal time.

Despite her worries about him putting himself in danger, Chase remained resolute, telling Willow that no one should be imprisoned for a crime they didn’t commit.

Meanwhile, Alexis met Kristina at Bobbie’s and heard all about her daughter’s talk with Drew; Kristina was curious about the “deal” Drew mentioned that he had made with her mother.

But before she could respond, Alexis surprised Kristina with the news that she was defending Willow.

Jacinda Met With Michael

After her encounter with Drew, Jacinda invited Michael to meet her at Coffee Haven and explained what happened at Bobbie’s, and concerned about Drew’s threat, she sought Michael’s assistance to help her vanish.

Michael warned that if she left, the police might question her alibi for Drew’s shooting, and as long as they were together, the police couldn’t prove they weren’t together that night.

When Jacinda pointed out that it was convenient for Michael to be with an escort when Drew was shot, he smiled and admitted that his alibi was weak.

Rather than having her leave town, Michael proposed that he would pay Jacinda to fall in love with him!

Ronnie’s Surprise Visitor

Ronnie opened the door to the mansion and saw Drew standing there. Not recognizing him, she took a moment to assess the man in the suit and confidently announced that she had a wonderful relationship with the Lord, before trying to shut the door. She obviously inferred from the suit that he must have been soliciting church members.

Just as she was about to close it, Drew stretched out his hand to stop her and inquired if she was Veronica Bard. Upon confirming her identity, Ronnie asked how she might assist him, to which Drew replied that his purpose was to help her.
