PHYLLIS SUMMER’S LOVE LIFE IS A DESERT AND WE’RE ALL SUFFERING
TL;DR: Phyllis Summers on Young and the Restless is DESPERATELY overdue for some action! Her last relationship with Jeremy Stark was a disaster, and all her exes are happily in love again while she’s stuck alone. Phyllis needs revenge sex with Paul Williams in Portugal, a rekindled flame with Tucker McCall, or literally anyone OTHER than Cane Ashby—because Y&R fans are NOT here for that pairing!
Phylis Summers getting laid again on Young and the Restless could not be more past due. Really, Young and the Restless fans had to be reminded by her least favorite bug, Cricket, that the last shot she had at love was awful, and a farce it was with Jeremy Stark.
It’s been a long time for Miss Phyllis. Too long. She’s recycled through her exes, and they are all in love again.
It’s time for Phyllis to look outside of her box on Young and the Restless…
Phyllis Needs to Get Laid, How About a Side of Revenge?
Revenge sex… Yes, it’s a thing, and it’s about time that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) attempts to check another box.
Phyllis HATES her least favorite bug, Cricket, otherwise known as Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell). So, former Detective/Chief of Police/The Bug’s ex-husband, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), is still alive and hopefully well in Portugal. He did have a heart attack right around the time his only daughter, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), was killed, and her service was held in Genoa City. Paul was unfortunately unable to attend.
Isn’t it about time that Paul Williams has some family time? Maybe with his granddaughter, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant). Lucy‘s father, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), has been spending his time helping his new BFF, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). Daniel has revealed to his parents that he has feelings for Tessa, despite her being married to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
So, who has been paying attention to Lucy? Before Heather‘s death, she had so many bumps in the road. There is NO way that she is better since her mother’s death. Perhaps her main Grandma can take her to see her main Grandpa in Portugal… and perhaps Grandma Phyllis and Grandpa Paul can catch up a bit with a follow-up of sorts in bed on Y&R.
Doug Davidson Out, but What about Tucker by Trevor?
Detective Paul Williams by Doug Davidson is never-ever coming back to Young and the Restless… Blah, blah, blah. That doesn’t mean he and Phyllis can’t be doing the dirty off-screen. After all, SO much of Y&R by Josh Griffith IS off-screen… But wait, there’s more… Rather, another option for Miss Phyllis on or off screen, and that option is Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Before Trevor St. John left Young and the Restless, Josh Griffith never gave Tucker and Phyllis a real shot. However, they did have a hot smooch at the GCAC on NYE in an attempt to make Rockstar Danny and The Bug jealous. It was hot, and there should have been more. Let’s bring it! Phyllis NEEDS to get laid!!
Connecting with Cane On Screen, No Y&R Fan Wants It
Phyllis has basically run her sexual course with all of her options in Genoa City. While she could easily be hot again with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he is SO much closer to getting back with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) right now. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is locked down with back from the dead Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters).
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is almost hunkered down and supposedly is in love with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) was never really an option; even so, he’s on his way to rebooting with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Ergo, Miss Phyllis is only left with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) on screen. However, Young and the Restless fans are not fans of this possible pairing.
Like it or not, Phyllis and Cane have been vibing. However, now, he’s not that happy with her as she may or may not have stolen his AI software. Even so, he now owns the Genoa City Athletic Club, where she continues to live alone. In addition, she apparently has on-demand entry access into his train as she demands it.
Cane and Phyllis are totally in one another’s orbits, and Josh Grittith isn’t the best writer. It’s totally feasible that this pairing is just pending and is going to happen on Young and the Restless, whether the most loyal of soap opera fans like it or not.
