GENOA CITY’S ABOUT TO IMPLODE: WEDDINGS, REVENGE SCHEMES, AND ONE VERY UNDEAD CULT LEADER
TL;DR: Y&R spoilers for October 20-24 bring absolute MAYHEM as Phyllis plots revenge (shocking nobody), Cricket‘s bachelorette party goes sideways, and Ian Ward returns from the dead AGAIN because apparently death means nothing in Genoa City. Meanwhile, Kyle‘s obsessively digging for dirt on Holden, and Mariah‘s past comes back to haunt her. Just another totally normal week in Genoa City!
Monday Madness
Y&R spoilers tease Cricket‘s bachelorette party is about to take an unexpected turn, which in Genoa City probably means someone gets arrested, someone confesses to a crime, or Phyllis shows up uninvited. Given that Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) are getting married despite Phyllis‘s best efforts to stop them, we’re betting on option three!
Speaking of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’s plotting her revenge. Because OF COURSE she is! Phyllisdoesn’t do “gracefully accepting defeat.” She does “elaborate revenge schemes that will probably backfire spectacularly.” What’s Phyllis planning this time? Crashing the bachelorette party? Sabotaging the wedding? Hiring a mariachi band to follow Cricket around town? With Phyllis, literally ANYTHING is possible!
Tuesday Turmoil
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is trying to make amends with Devon Winters (Bryton James), which should be interesting considering their complicated history. Will Devon accept Cane‘s olive branch or tell him exactly where he can shove his apology? Knowing Devon, he’s probably going to make Cane work for it!
Meanwhile, Phyllis is placing a risky bet. Which tracks because Phyllis‘s entire LIFE is a series of risky bets that somehow work out until they spectacularly don’t. What’s she betting on this time? That she can ruin Danny and Cricket‘s wedding? That she can win Danny back? That she can out-scheme Cane? Place your bets, Genoa City!
Wednesday Wildness
IAN WARD RETURNS! The cult leader from HELL is BACK from the dead (again), and Mariah Copeland(Camryn Grimes) is about to be confronted by her past in the WORST possible way. Ian (Ray Wise) raised Mariah in his cult, kidnapped her, drugged her, and forced her into marriage. He’s literally her worst nightmare, and now he’s ALIVE and probably showing up at that Boston clinic!
Mariah‘s already pushing Tessa away and refusing treatment. Finding out Ian‘s alive is going to send her into an absolute TAILSPIN. Someone get Mariah a better therapist immediately because this woman is about to spiral HARD!
Also Sharon and Nick are still worrying about Noah‘s condition, which is understandable given their son is in an induced coma after someone deliberately ran him off the road. But honestly? Y&R spoilers hint they’ve got bigger problems coming because Ian Ward being alive affects their entire family!
Thursday Throwdown
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) meets Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), and we’re curious what her deal is! Is Siennaconnected to Noah‘s accident? Ian Ward‘s return? Something completely different? In Genoa City, new characters are NEVER just randomly showing up to make friends!
Y&R spoilers tease Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is digging for dirt on Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), because Kyle has officially become the most insufferable stalker ex-boyfriend in daytime television history. Claire broke up with you, Kyle! She’s in LA with Holden! Maybe focus on your actual SON instead of obsessing over your ex-girlfriend’s new relationship? Just a thought!
Friday Finale
Kyle‘s now grilling Sienna for dirt on Holden, because apparently one day of digging wasn’t enough! This man is RELENTLESS in his quest to prove Holden‘s terrible so Claire will come running back to him. Spoiler alert, Kyle: this behavior is exactly WHY Claire left you in the first place! Sienna better have good intel or Kyle‘s going to have a complete meltdown!
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) goes out on a limb for Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), which is interesting because these two have had their ups and downs. What’s Sally doing for Audra? Standing up to Tucker? Helping her with business? Hiding a body? (Okay probably not that last one, but you never know in Genoa City!)
Y&R Spoilers: What Else to Watch
Throughout the week, Phyllis and Cane reach some kind of understanding, and Nate gets a surprise invitation (to what, we don’t know). It’s going to be an absolutely UNHINGED week in Genoa City where cult leaders return from the dead, and Kyle continues his descent into obsessive ex-boyfriend madness. Just another totally normal week!
