
It’s the most beautiful time of the year, when Hallmark Channel kicks off their annual Countdown To Christmas.
There’s nothing more relaxing on a crisp Fall after noon than watching holiday movies with hot cocoa and fuzzy slippers. Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s Hallmark Christmas movies, and how to watch.
When Does Hallmark Start Airing Christmas Movies
The holidays are right around the corner, and so is Countdown To Christmas on the Hallmark Channel. The unveiling of new holiday movies has become a holiday staple in households across the nation on Hallmark Movie Channel, and it seems to start earlier and earlier every year.
This year the big Countdown To Christmas event is set to start on Friday, October 17, and then there will be a new movie airing every weekend all the way up until the final movie premiere, “The Christmas Baby” on December 21st.
This year Hallmark Channel is releasing a whopping twenty-four new movies between no and Christmas. Between now and Halloween, three of those movies will air:
“A Royal Montana Christmas“: Saturday, Oct. 18. When a princess abandons her royal duties to unwind at a Montana ranch before Christmas, she meets a charming guide who gives her a taste of rustic life.
“A Christmas Angel Match“: Sunday, Oct. 19. Two Christmas angels are unexpectedly paired up to help two soulmates fall in love before Christmas.
“Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper!”: Saturday, Oct. 25. After experiencing a rough year, a weatherman returns to his hometown to celebrate Christmas. Things begin to look up for him once he runs into a former mentor and a former crush.
New Hallmark Christmas Shows
In companion with the 24 new movies airing during Countdown To Christmas, the network also will be airing new episodes of popular holiday shows.
Television spoilers reveal Hallmark is airing new episodes of the popular series “Finding Mr. Christmas” and also “Baked With Love: Holiday.” In addition to those shows, two new holiday themed shows have been added to the line-up, “Mistletoe Murders” and “Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas.”
