In other words, the Duchess of Sussex might be looking to copy the same kind of success that other celebrities like Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez have had with their own lines.

One source close to the situation says that there was a reason why Meghan Markle decided to go to Paris unexpectedly for Paris Fashion Week earlier in the month and that’s because she’s trying to rebrand herself as a fashionista of sorts.
Plus, if she really does want her own cosmetics line, the only way that she can make it happen is if she positions herself as someone of importance in the fashion world.
The insider even put it this way, “She is trying her hand to re-enter the global stage without waiting for an invitation. Fashion for the eyeballs, humanitarianism for the legitimacy, Washington for the gravitas. It’s less about proving one thing than layering enough optics to obscure the vacuum underneath.”

Now, whether or not this actually works remains to be seen. As many of our loyal readers already know, Meghan has had a very hard time with the launch of her brand, As Ever.
She incorporated some of the products while she was filming her Netflix show, ‘With Love, Meghan,’ which unfortunately only lasted for two seasons.
Even though Meghan did get some attention for her jams and her wine, it wasn’t enough to really get anyone’s attention. That’s why there are some critics out there who think Meghan’s cosmetics line might turn out to be an even bigger flop than her lifestyle brand.
