Another day, another odd photo op. This time around we are talking about Prince William and Kate Middleton as they have been criticized for their cringeworthy behavior.
The Prince and Princess of Wales were in Northern Ireland, where they got to make and make potato apple pancakes with the locals.
And while it certainly did look like a very good time, some people think that the smiles that William and Kate had plastered on their face were just a little too extreme for their taste, if you know what we mean.
Prince William And Kate Middleton Criticized For Their Cringeworthy Behavior
In fact, a lot of people think that the royal couple might be over-exaggerating just how much fun they are pretending to have whenever they are on one of their royal engagements. That’s how fake it looks.
Of course, both royal fans and critics had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “It feels SO forced! Oof. It’s crazy to think they’re both Diana’s sons, yet only one of them inherited her charm and warmth and ability to connect.”
What’s Really Going On With The Prince And Princess Of Wales?
“Kate was doing so well during that stop with the Northern Ireland fire services. Normal-looking smiles. I thought she must have practiced. But nope, here’s the insane smile back. Maybe the firemen made her smile for real?”
Another critic of the royal family wrote, “Yes it’s so forced. Like how do they expect us to believe baking is so outrageously fun. I like baking but I’m seldom laughing like a hyena when I’m doing so.”
“I do feel almost sorry for Kate and William. They have lost their way in the world.”
And then there was this comment as well: “They need to do more than just carefully crafted photo ops. Could you imagine Kate actually supporting cancer research and advocating on behalf of her specific cancer. For example, she could easily start an annual Royal cancer-type tennis cup.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
