IS L.A. THE NEW SOUTH OF FRANCE ON YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS?
TL;DR: Y&R is setting up another trip from hell in Los Angeles. Noah Newman has been in a serious car accident prompting Sharon and Nick to rush to LA. Meanwhile, Kyle Abbott is tracking down Claire as she enjoys Vespers with Holden, whose past is unraveling thanks to club owner Sienna. With ties to Tucker, Diane, Audra, Allie, and Keemo, this LA storyline is about to shake Genoa City like an earthquake.
Y&R’s Latest Trip from Hell, L.A. Without Cane Ashby
Young and the Restless fans have just been relieved of the Dumas trip from hell in the South of France, sponsored by Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). Now, Cane‘s associate, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), has initiated part 1 of 2 of the L.A. trip from hell; meanwhile, his ex, Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) ex, Noah Newman (then Rory Gibson, now Lucas Adams), initiated part 2 of 2.
There is SO much to unpack with this cast of characters headed to L.A. with or without everyone else in Genoa City who has ties to L.A. So far, we have Holden Novak and his travel companion, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), and they both catch up with Holden‘s old gal pal, Sienna (Tamara Braun). Just with that cast of characters, it’s reasonable that Audra shows up & Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) turns up from whatever rock he has been hiding under.
Speaking of Audra, she’s also tied to Noah Newman, as they dated in London. What about Noah‘s current girlfriend, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang)? Will she pop back up in L.A.? She previously lived there with supposedly deceased father, Keemo, (Phillip Moon). Then there is Diane Jenkins, who fibbed as realtor Taylor Jensen to bring Allie and herself back into Jack Abbott‘s (Peter Bergman) life.

It’s Like Cassie All Over Again, but With Noah Newman
No, no, and more no. Sharon and Nick Newman‘s (Sharon Case and Joshua Morrow) daughter, Cassie Newman(Camryn Grimes) dying how she did and at such a young age was one of the saddest times in Young and the Restlesshistory. Can Sharon ever find happiness? She has been through too much and more this year, and now she and Nick‘s son, Noah Newman, has been in a serious car accident. If a Newman child needs to perish, why can’t it be Christian Newman, who Y&R fans have not seen in years? Christian isn’t even Nick‘s; he’s Adam Newman‘s (Mark Grossman) biological son, and Christian‘s mother is the late Sage (Kelly Sullivan).
Nick Newman is headed to L.A. to be with Sharon and Noah. Did Allie travel to L.A. with Noah? He was supposed to be working on opening another club. Regardless of whether Allie is there or not, will Noah‘s ex, Audra Charles, jet set her way to L.A. to support Noah? She and Sharon just had a nice chat about him at Crimson Lights. Audra is heartbroken and otherwise down and out. She has nothing else to do, but she did fake a miscarriage with Noah…but he doesn’t know that…YET.
Sienna & Kyle Block Sexy Time Between Holden & Claire
Young and the Restless welcomes Tamara Braun, who is portraying Sienna, a woman from Holden Novak‘s past. Well, let’s have this meet up unravel… The last time Sienna saw Holden in L.A., he was spending time with Audra Charles. During that time, Tucker McCall was also in their orbit. Diane Jenkins had a connection with Tucker when she was living in L.A., but she supposedly never met Holden or Audra. Then, if that isn’t enough, the biggest entitled adult brat of all of Genoa City, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is en route to beat the dead horse that he thinks he and Claire are meant for one another, and Holden is an opportunist player.
