'General Hospital' Recap October 13: Nina and Willow Arrested, Carly Blindsided & Nathan Wants His Badge BackGeneral Hospital recaps for Monday, October 13 reveal Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) did some detective work, and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) wanted his bad back.

Plus, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was arrested at family therapy with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and the kids, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) at Bobbie’s while having lunch with Nathan!

Chase Felt Guilty

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) came back from a run to see Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) packing Lila Quartermaine’s (Anna Lee) fine china, as requested by Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)

This request came following the incident with Ronnie Bard (Erika Slezak) and the teapot. Brook Lynn was thankful for him having the day off, and Chase noted that he thought it was intentional.

He couldn’t be impartial about Willow being one of the PCPD’s suspects in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) case. Chase was concerned that he had drawn Willow’s attention from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Thankful For The Support Of A Spouse

He mentioned that Drew had Judge Eva Heran (Tessa Auberjonois) killed before she could allow Willow to visit her children, and by telling Anna his theory, he had given her a motive. “I just wanted to help, but I ended up making her a suspect,”

Chase lamented. In an effort to ease her husband’s guilt, Brook Lynn reminded him that it was Willow’s poor choices that put her in this predicament, not a theory  Chase had shared with Anna.

Chase was amazed at how, after ending things with Willow, he had the good fortune to meet Brook Lynn while his ex-wife’s life fell apart.

In response, Brook Lynn told her husband that she felt lucky too, as he dealt with her eccentric family, and she appreciated how he always found the good in others.

Drew And Willow Touched Base

In his hospital room, Drew agreed to support Willow with the supervised therapy sessions for the kids and urged her to move back in with him.

That way, she’d be sending a message to Michael that he can’t control her life. Willow remained firm, not wanting to upset Michael or risk her time with the kids, but Drew argued that his nephew was manipulating her and using the kids to keep them apart.

He referenced Lulu Spencer’s article in the Port Charles Press, mentioning that Michael’s arrest for shooting him was imminent, which would allow her to regain custody of her children.

When Drew asked Willow to trust him and the future they could have as a family, she agreed to move back in with him-however, Willow’s heart wasn’t in it.

Trina And Kai’s Detective Work

To fulfill Drew’s request to prepare the house for his return, Kai took Trina with him to look around and erase any evidence from the night of the shooting.

As they retraced their steps, they remembered hearing Scout Cain’s (Cosette Abinante) ringtone, “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star,” on Drew’s phone right after the second gunshot.

Trina believed that the phone call prevented the shooter from finishing off Drew, and Kai mentioned that Scout might have saved her father’s life.

While discussing what they did after the shooter left, Kai felt guilty for being cautious not to touch the door handle, yet leaving the softball bat with his fingerprints. He and Trina were concerned that if the police linked him to the scene, they could connect him to her, the safe’s contents, and ultimately her parents.

Kai’s Realization, Drew’s Return Home

Taking a breath, Kai concluded that as Drew’s devoted intern and an athlete, the police would likely think he had left his fingerprints on the bat during a previous visit to Drew’s house.

Trina felt relieved that they had a believable story and wished she could inform her parents that the evidence Drew had against her mother had been eliminated. But the problem with that was  they couldn’t find out she was present that night.

Trina and Kai decided to erase the memory of that night before she left to meet her father. Later, Drew returned home to the house that Kai had set up for him and joyfully announced that Willow had agreed to move back in.

Portia And Curtis Discussed How To Break Their Divorce News To Trina

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) visited Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) office at Aurora to talk about how they should inform Trina about their divorce.

He told her that he had reliable information suggesting that Drew might accuse one of them of shooting him. He then pointed out that as long as they remained married, they wouldn’t be forced to testify against one another.

Declaring her innocence, Portia angrily stated that Drew no longer possessed the evidence to blackmail her, so she had no reason to shoot him. She even refrained from acting on her urge to kill him when she had the opportunity in the operating room, she remarked.

Trina Arrived And Was Saddened To Hear About The Divorce

Portia began to question whether Curtis required her protection, but he countered that if he had been the one to shoot Drew, he would have preferred his former friend to see him coming.

He wouldn’t have  shot Drew in the back; Curtis disclosed that his informant also mentioned that Drew intended to frame him and Portia if he couldn’t manage to get Michael arrested.

Portia was not concerned about that, clarifying that she had been at Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) earlier when the police arrived to search the house because Willow was a suspect.

Trina then entered her dad’s office and felt saddened to hear that her parents were divorcing. She looked like she was going to cry.

Anna And Dante Discussed Warrants And Evidence

While having coffee with Anna in her office, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) mentioned that he had received information from the D.A.’s office. He said that ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) was presenting the evidence found at Elizabeth’s house directly to the judge to prevent the arrest warrants from being made public.

Anna was hopeful that by keeping the warrants under wraps, the suspects wouldn’t find out and start talking among themselves-their discussion was interrupted when Nathan arrived.

Dante had a warm reunion with his friend and former partner; Nathan expressed his gratitude to Anna for being the one to inform his family that he was still alive.

He praised how amazing a kid James West (Gary James Fuller) was, before revealing that he had something he wanted to talk to Anna about.

Nathan Wants His Badge Back And His Job

Dante left, and as soon as he was alone with Anna, Nathan requested that his badge be reinstated. He not only wished to return to the career he is passionate about but also wanted to support his son. Although she was hesitant, Anna consented to explore the possibility of Nathan’s return.

She cautioned him that it might never occur due to the unusual circumstances surrounding his case, and they needed to understand what he had been doing for the last seven years. They said goodbye with a hug, during which both Anna and Nathan appeared quite thoughtful.

Sonny Warned Michael About His Possible Arrest

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) requested Michael to meet him at Miller & Davis, as he wanted to set up his son’s defense team just in case.

While they were in the office alone, Sonny asked Michael again if he had attempted to kill Drew. Michael replied that even though he despised Drew for his actions, he had spent that night with a woman he met at the Port Charles Grill.

Sonny felt that this alibi wouldn’t hold up and was concerned that his son might be arrested. Michael assured Sonny that he wouldn’t be the one facing charges.

Sonny Was A Little Suspicious

“Do you know something I’m unaware of?” Sonny asked forcefully. Michael replied that he didn’t; he simply meant he was confident Anna and Dante would trace the evidence to the real culprit — who wasn’t him.

Sonny thought Michael was being overly optimistic. Michael countered that he was more focused on safeguarding his children than on proving he was innocent and angrily stated that Drew was the cause of his marriage’s downfall.

“The woman I love is now someone I can’t trust alone with my kids-therefore, I must do whatever is necessary to ensure she can’t regain custody of them.”

Dante Assured Sonny Michael Wasn’t Being Arrested

After Michael departed, Dante showed up at the law office, where Sonny inquired if the PCPD intended to apprehend Michael.

Dante noted that Michael had several motives and was an adult, meaning Sonny couldn’t shield him from the repercussions of his choices. Nevertheless, when Dante verified that the police had several arrest warrants, none of which were for Michael, Sonny breathed a sigh of relief.

“However, I doubt you’ll be pleased with who we are bringing in,” Dante cautioned before exiting. That only made Sonny worried that perhaps Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)  was the one being arrested.

Carly And Nina Argue At Bobbie’s

As Nina arrived for a lunch date at Bobbie’s, she proudly told Carly how happy she was that Michael was “finally being reasonable” and permitting Willow to see the kids.

She viewed it as a positive move towards a custody agreement, but Carly retorted that the playdate was under the supervision of a mental health professional.

They went on to debate their grandchildren’s custody arrangements, the affair between Drew and Willow, as well as Nina’s secret relationship with Drew while Willow was unaware.

They also touched on Michael’s alibi involving a call girl, his accident and subsequent recovery, and the ongoing bitter custody battle.

Nathan Arrives And Breaks Up The Fight

Then, Nina smirked, suggesting that it might have been Carly, not Michael, who shot Drew. Carly shot back, claiming that Nina had several motives to shoot Drew, prompting Nina to highlight that both Carly and Michael had aggressive tempers.

As their discussion intensified, with Carly labeling Nina and her daughters as psychos, Nathan showed up and intervened.

While Nathan and Nina were having lunch, Sonny came in and informed Carly that he had the jet prepared for departure. Since the police were issuing warrants — and since they weren’t focusing on Michael, that meant she was the target.

Nina And Willow Were Both Arrested

Chase and Brook Lynn’s meaningful talk was interrupted when Chase got a call from the station; “Yes, I will get the warrant and make the arrest immediately,” he said, then left.

At Bobbies, before Carly and Sonny could exit, Chase and an officer arrived at the diner. Just as Nina happily exclaimed that Carly was in trouble, Chase walked over to her table and arrested her for conspiracy to commit murder!

Meanwhile, in a therapist’s office at G.H., Michael and Willow were with Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko) when Dante and Anna arrived. As Michael brought the kids to sit with him on the couch, Dante and Anna arrested Willow for the attempted murder of Congressman Cain — and Michael appeared unfazed!
