B&B BRUTAL Speculation: Dr. Taylor Hayes SNAPS After Brooke & Ridge’s Quicky Office Wedding—Will She Pull a GUN and Turn Beverly Hills Into a CRIME SCENE?!

By Mark Martinez 10/13/2025

WHAT IF TAYLOR GOES FULL PSYCHO AT THE ALTAR AND FINALLY DOES WHAT WE’VE ALL BEEN THINKING?

TL;DR: Absolutely unhinged B&B speculation asks: what if Taylor Hayes shows up to Brooke and Ridge‘s wedding night with a gun? Will she actually pull the trigger? This is dark comedy speculation about what happens when you push someone too far for too long!

Taylor Hayes Reaches Her Breaking Point

Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) has watched Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) choose Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) approximately forty-seven times over three decades. She’s been the backup plan, the consolation prize, the “I’ll be back when Brooke disappoints me” option for years. Taylor‘s a respected psychiatrist, devoted grandmother, and successful career woman—and she’s DONE. B&B speculation asks: what if finding out THIS quicky office wedding is the moment Taylor finally snaps?

The Wedding Night From Hell

Ridge and Brooke will be coming home together all gushy and smoochy after saying vows they’ve memorized. Brooke didn’t even bother wearing white, Ridge looked uncomfortable, and every single one of us fans watched this reunion like it’s Groundhog Day. Taylor has had enough, though, and she’s abotu to do something about it. But she’s not making a speech. Dr. Taylor Hayes—respected psychiatrist, devoted grandmother—pulls out a handgun and aims it at Brooke!

Five Possible Outcomes

Scenario One: She Actually Shoots.
Taylor pulls the trigger. Brooke gets hit in the shoulder—nothing fatal because this is daytime TV. Taylor drops the gun in horror. Ridge rushes to Brooke. The psychiatrist becomes the patient!

Scenario Two: Her Aim Sucks.
Taylor‘s hands shake so badly that she misses entirely. The bullet shatters a vase. Security hauls her away. The woman who diagnoses mental illness now needs a diagnosis herself!

Scenario Three: Ridge Talks Her Down.
Ridge steps between them and talks Taylor down. She realizes shooting Brooke won’t get her Ridge‘s love. She lowers the weapon sobbing. No shots fired, but everyone knows Taylor came armed to a wedding.

Scenario Four: She Turns It On Herself.
Taylor realizes killing Brooke won’t help, so she turns the gun on herself. Ridge tackles her before she can pull the trigger. The gun goes off hitting the ceiling.

Scenario Five: It’s Fake.
The gun’s a prop. Taylor wanted to scare everyone into understanding how done she is. It’s a cry for help disguised as attempted murder.

The Aftermath

Taylor‘s medical license gets revoked immediately. Her reputation is obliterated. Her relationship with her grandchildren gets complicated. Ridge‘s guilt goes off the charts. Brooke‘s superiority complex gets validated. Steffyand Thomas‘s therapy bills become astronomical. Forrester family Thanksgiving is ruined forever.

Why This Speculation Is Gold

Will this actually happen? No, because CBS has standards. But the speculation is delicious because it’s the logical endpoint of thirty years of losing. The psychiatrist having a breakdown is peak irony. It subverts expectations. It’s soapy as hell. And it’s what we’re all thinking. Give us feral Taylor or give us nothing! She’s earned it!
