The Young and the Restless fans were shocked today when news broke that a former cast member had been arrested for domestic violence.
Soap star Max Ehrich was booked in Florida on Tuesday October 7, and has reportedly posted bail and been released. Here’s everything we know about the incident, keep reading for all the details.
Ehrich is well-known among daytime viewers, and played the part of Fenmore Baldwin from 2012-2015. The troubled actor appeared in over 100 episodes as the son of fan favorites Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Gregman), and he was involved in some pretty big storylines in Genoa City.

TMZ was the first to post news that The Young and the Restless actor had been arrested this week, but if you follow Max Ehrich on social media then you probably weren’t too shocked by the report.
The former soap star was on social media for several days leading up to the incident and posted some concerning videos and bizarre rambling.

According to a report from TMZ, “Max was arrested Tuesday night for battery on a person 65 or older … and the charge involves domestic violence on a family member. We’re told Max posted $1,000 bond and was released from jail Wednesday.”
The entertainment site went on to say, “Max went live on social media multiple times Tuesday with his mother in the room … but it’s unclear if she’s the family member from the battery charge.”
