General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has gone pretty low in recent times, but how low can she go?
After gaslighting Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) out of the country with her Daisy Corinthos (Evelyn and Brenden Beimford) shenanigans, is she trying to frame Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst)?
The PCPD Does A Search Of Elizabeth’s House
The most recent GH preview showed Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and a plainclothes cop showing up at the door of Elizabeth’s home, and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is there at the time.
Anna searches the house herself and after a time comes back with something wrapped in either a white cloth or perhaps some white tissue or wrapping paper.
But how did it get there-if Willow was the one who shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) with Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) gun, did she hide it in Elizabeth’s house?
Elizabeth was the one who took Willow in and gave her a place to live after the wedding that wasn’t and rejecting her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Would she really try to frame Elizabeth for Drew’s shooting-that’s pretty low; but so was gaslighting Sasha!
Timeline And Timeframe-Could She Have Done It?
There’s no question that Willow could have known where Edward’s gun collection was and stole a gun to shoot Drew that night-she went in and out of the house moving Daisy around!
She knows how to avoid any cameras there might have been, as she knows where they are-and she could have stolen the gun at any time.
Then there’s that walk in the rain that Willow claimed she took, missing that time at work when she was unaccounted for-and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) covered for her.
Anna and even Willow’s ex, Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) who was believing her, are doubtful about that alibi, so there’s that, Chase has a revelation!
If Willow Is Trying To Frame Elizabeth, It’s Likely To Backfire
If, in spite of Elizabeth’s kindness to Willow, she is trying to frame her, it’s likely going to backfire-even with the assumption on the PCPD’s part that the gun was wiped down.
This frame up is not well thought out, it sounds like Willow didn’t consider that Elizabeth was at work when the shooting happened!
It sounds like perhaps panic is setting in and it’s a last-minute decision on Willow’s part….an instance of emergency blameshifting!
It certainly sounds like Elizabeth and Portia, who are obviously blindsided, wouldn’t have been the shooter-Portia’s not even on the persons of interest list. Or, there is a slight chance that Willow didn’t shoot Drew, but someone wants the PCPD to think she did!
