Jennifer Horton Deveraux’s Memories
Let’s start off with Jennifer and Jack. The couple has returned to Salem and is dealing with a lot of drama. Mainly, Jennifer’s fury over Chad dating Cat.
It was made so much worse because Chad didn’t have a chance to explain himself. Instead, Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) blasted the news in front of a stunned Jennifer, Jack, and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).

Jennifer, Jack and Julie will think about the past 40 years in Salem.
JJ Deveraux Tormented
Over with JJ, he will continue to be troubled by Theo Carver’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) trauma. The incident during curfew was strikingly similar to when JJ shot Theo all those years ago.
As the young man told the detective, they were okay until JJ decided to become a cop again, and in Salem, no less.
However, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) wouldn’t have brought JJ back to the force if she thought there was any risk. So, what is JJ going to do now?
Thomas DiMera’s Bold Request
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, October 9 reveal that Thomas will make a bold request. Considering how upset he is about Cat, the little boy probably asks Chad to break things off.
Even though Chad cares about Cat, he can’t deny the little boy. It’s not for silly reasons, Cat impersonated his dead mother, Abigail DiMera (last played by Marci Miller).
The wounds of Abigail’s death are still pretty fresh to Chad’s children. So, for him to be dating that same impersonator must be confusing for Thomas.

Chad DiMera’s Heartbreaking News
That eventually leads to Chad delivering a hard truth to Cat. The blonde cares about Chad’s children very much. While it will be heartbreaking for her to accept the break-up, she also knows that kids have to come first.
It might also remind Cat that no matter how much good she does in Salem, it doesn’t erase the negative effects her actions had on others, including innocent children.
