AUDRA CHARLES DITCHES BILLY’S DISASTER AND JOINS CANE ASHBY’S CHAOS TRAIN
TL;DR: Cane Ashby and Audra Charles may have the smallest fan clubs ever on Y&R, but they’ve got ambition to win at ANYTHING in Genoa City. Audra‘s out of Abbott Communications after realizing Billy‘s a disaster, and now she’s knocking on Cane‘s train door because at this point, what does she have to lose? These two have nothing better to do than compare notes and brainstorm—in and out of bed.
Audra Charles is Out of Abbott Communications 2.0…
As much as Young and the Restless fans have had it with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and his months and months of preparing for the Abbott Communications launch, trading out redhead for another redhead, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has had it as well.
Yes, Audra’s newest and bestest friend, Sally (Courtney Hope), means well, but that isn’t going to pay the bills in Genoa City. Audra Charles is still taking up residence at the GCAC and needs to keep her tab current, as her ambitions do not include leaving Genoa City.
Sally Spectra thinks she has passed the course of Billy Abbott Failing: 1.0, but she doesn’t know that Billy Boy doubles down in his follow-up course, 2.0. Fortunately for Audra, she’s not in love with Billy Abbott, and her business savvy tells her that Abbott Communications is nothing but hanging by a thread that Billy‘s mother, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), may or may not have packed with her back to Genoa City.
Audra Charles Knocks Her Way into Y&R’s Cane Train
Why wouldn’t Audra Charles knock on Cane Ashby‘s (Billy Flynn) train door? At this point, Audra has nothing to lose and everything to gain. She was at Cane‘s Dumas party from Hell and probably has some questions and opportunities in mind in exchange. Didn’t everyone on that trip come home with less?
Audra is down a lover. Cane‘s hope for a reboot with his ex-lover/wife/mother of his twins, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), is merely a coin tails side up in a pond at the mall. Audra and Cane have nothing better to do than to compare notes and to brainstorm how to get what they want in and out of bed.
May someone recommend that Audra Charles find some birth control, as she’s coming up on nine lives in her colleagues’ with benefits voyage. Cane Ashby already has another child out of wedlock with Lily; he doesn’t need to double down with another child post-divorce with Lily.
