General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) suspicious about “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) due to how Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is acting.
Jason’s suspicions really ramp up when he learns that Britt was discouraging James West (Gary James Fuller) from getting to know his birth father.
Why Did You Try To Stop James From Meeting His Father?
Jason just comes right out and confronts Britt over her behavior at the hospital, after hearing what happened from Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).
As it turned out, while Britt was trying to talk Spinelli and Felicia Scorpio, (Kristina Wagner) along with her own mother Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) into keeping James from Nathan, she couldn’t.
Britt had given James a five dollar bill and sent him to get some soda from the vending machine-he bought two sodas and took them into Nathan.
Spinelli was more worried about what would happen when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) eventually comes out of her coma, as well as the jealousy over Nathan coming up in him again.
However, he did acknowledge that he’d become a father figure to little James, along with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).
Even Jason Isn’t Buying What Britt Is Selling About What Maxie Would Think
Even Jason isn’t buying what Britt is selling about if Maxie would want James to get to know his birth father without her being out of her coma. And Jason can tell that’s not Britt’s real reason, and he tries to get the real reason out of her.
The more she objects and the more excuses she makes, the more suspicious he becomes that something’s off-really off, and he reminds her he can tell when she’s lying!
Jason wants to know if “Nathan’s” sudden appearance has anything to do with the work Britt was doing in the lab at Five Poppies.
Britt is thrown by Jason’s interrogation, and asks him since when is he a spy or a cop, and she won’t give him any details other than things aren’t what they seem!
Britt Knows If She Doesn’t Tell Jason, He’ll Keep Digging Until He Gets The Truth!
Britt knows if she doesn’t tell Jason, he’ll keep digging until he gets the truth-but she does remind him that the DNA and fingerprints match-Jason already knows that.
But Britt’s continued hesitation to tell him everything she knows about her suddenly “resurrected” brother just increases Jason’s suspicions about “Nathan”.
Jason asks if Nathan is in danger from the same people that Britt was, and if that’s why she wants her mother and nephew to steer clear.
Britt doesn’t want to admit to that either, because Jason won’t let it go about something being off with “Nathan” and he’ll likely expose the secret. Without telling Britt his plans, that’s exactly what Jason intends to do—and he’ll involve Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) as well!
