Barbs Has A Stroke
On October 6, TMZ broke the news that the mom of Jenelle Evans ended up in the hospital with a stroke. Jace, the boy she fought for custody from Jenelle, was with her at the time. A source claimed that Jenelle’s sister, Ashley, rushed to be with her mom.
Apparently, Jenelle also went to North Carolina from Las Vegas. However, it’s not clear if she went there specifically to see Barbs. Barbara is in the care of Jace at her home in North Carolina. On social media, folks are talking about the Teen Mom OG who left the show when Jenelle and her ex, David Eason, were cut by the network.
Jace Is There For His Grandmother
For years, fans watched Barbara Evans and Jenelle bicker and fight. She didn’t like her daughter’s lifestyle or the fact that she dated and hopped into bed with several men who either had criminal records or later cranked up time behind bars.
Of course, folks also watched Barbara and Jenelle fight for custody of her first son, Jace, the son of Andrew Lewis. Recently, Jace, who clashed with his mom after she took over custody, stayed with his dad for a bit. Then he returned to Vegas. However, that didn’t work out and he’s now back with Barbara.
Plenty of fans on social media hoped that the stroke by Barbara Evans wouldn’t place Jace’s current residence back in jeopardy. But for now, it seems that he’s still in North Carolina and being a comfort to Barbara.

When the r/TeenMomOGandTeenMom2 subreddit posted the news on Reddit many MTV fans had their say about Barbara and about Jenelle. One of them wrote, “My first reaction. At least it wasn’t bad since she’s expected to make a full recovery. She has no support system for HERSELF.”
Meanwhile, another follower chimed in with their concerns about Barbara, saying:
I know she’s expected to fully recover, but I just worry so much for her. At her age with the enormous stress she deals with and having no help, she is just more susceptible to injury/illness/disease/medical emergencies. I really hope she focuses and takes great care of herself so she can be healthy and strong as long as possible!!!
