Brennan Approaches Jason Down At The Waterfront On The Pier
Jason looks upset as he’s down at the pier, likely having come or gone to his office at the Corinthos Coffee warehouse, or possibly Bobbie’s.
A photo in Soap Opera Digest shows Jason facing the water, as Jack seemingly has snuck up behind him, and Brennan looks like he means business! Brennan is aware of Jason’s presence at the Five Poppies as well, and his rescue of Vaughn, Josslyn and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Brennan’s not happy that Jason knows much more than he should regarding the WSB op at the Five Poppies. Now that operation is beyond compromised, with a key suspect named Pascal (Marc Forget) in the wind, and Brennan blames Jason!
Jason Already Promised Josslyn He Wouldn’t Tell Her Mother She’s A Spy
Jason has already promised Josslyn he wouldn’t tell her mother she’s a spy, and all the secrets and lies that of necessity go with that, to maintain covers when on a mission.
It would be one thing for Carly to be involved with Brennan, which she is, but quite another for her daughter to be working for him!
But Jack doesn’t seem to trust that Jason is a man of his word, although his knowledge of being forced to work for the FBI should tell him Jason knows about secrecy.
He knows Carly has a soft spot for Jason that he will never understand, but he can’t seem to get the reputation of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) hit man out of his head! But what Jack is threatening Jason with is over the top-plain and simple, it seems more like blackmail!
Jack Knows Of Crimes Jason’s Good For, But Never Been Prosecuted For
Jack knows of crimes that Jason committed, for Sonny of course, but has never been prosecuted for, and he holds them over his head, threatening exposure and arrest.
It is mandatory that Jason keeps Carly in the dark, whether she tries to get the truth out of him or not regarding things he knows about the failed WSB op. Unfortunately, Jack has Jason dead to rights, and he can’t do anything about it except not reveal anything to Carly.
Jason hates being leveraged like Jack is doing, and he knows things Jack has done as well-unbeknownst to Jack! The two men strike a deal, Jason reluctantly, because he doesn’t trust Jack Brennan at all!
