General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal the theme of characters coming back to life has been prevalent in the ABC soap over the past year, as well as many previous years. With a familiar name resurfacing in Port Charles, could this be a hint at yet another surprising comeback?
Could Another Cassadine Or A Cassadine Connection Be Coming Back From The Dead?
The Cassadine family has appeared somewhat diminished in recent years; Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are both incarcerated.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is presumed dead, and with the rest of the family having passed away decades ago, only one genuine Cassadine is left.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) all share Cassadine lineage.
Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) of course also is a Cassadine, but women can’t inherit in the Cassadine rules. So it is young Ace Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) who stands as the sole heir of the Cassadine legacy.
Could A Cassadine Connection With An Adoptive Relative Return?
Imagine if a Cassadine connection is still alive, and she could come back to Port Charles! Although neither Nikolas nor Stefan Cassadine (Stephen Nichols) ever made it official, what if Katherine Bell (Mary Beth Evans) is not truly dead?
It wasn’t long ago that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) mentioned the late Katherine, and both actors share a history from Days of our Lives.
Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) also brought up how Reginald Jennings (Stephen Kay), the Quartermaine butler, poisoned Katherine recently.
This has sparked the idea that this unforgettable character from the 90s could soon grace our screens again.
Katherine Bell Does Have Connections In Town
Katherine does have connections in Port Charles, aside from Alexis and her family, and of course her ex Ned, who was married to Lois at the same time (who can forget that?!)
Lois and Ned as Eddie Maine were married, and Lois jumped out of Katherine’s wedding cake introducing herself as the other Mrs. Ned Ashton (before he took the Quartermaine name).
Katherine’s Cassadine connections, Stefan and Nikolas may no longer be in Port Charles, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t someone!
Due to the fact that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) was brought up by The Bells, Katherine is his sister by adoption.
However, if she should reveal herself to be alive, if Cody knows anything about her history, it would be no surprise to anyone if he didn’t want to claim her as family!
