General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) will reading outcome isn’t quite what Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) expected-or any other of the Q’s! In fact, the shocking outcome of the reading of Monica’s will leaves Tracy and the Quartermaines stunned!
The Reading Of The Will Begins, And Alexis Does The Duties
Alexis, obviously freed from her Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) nightmare at her house, is at the Q manse for Monica’s will reading-and all the Q’s are there.
Monica’s grandchildren, except for Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and great grandchildren are absent, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) are also absent.
Ned and Olivia Quartermaine, (Wally Kurth, Lisa LoCicero) , Veronica Bard (Erika Slezak) Michael, Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) and Tracy are seated.
As Alexis tries to read the will word for word, Tracy interrupts, wanting her to stop the legalese. Alexis asks if should she skip ahead, and everyone seems ok with it.
Alexis Continues With The Reading Of Monica’s Will
Alexis says, “ Ok, I will skip over the provisions made for Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) and the staff, “ and continues reading the will. “To my precious young grandchildren and great grandchildren, you have all brought me such joy and comfort. I only wish I could be around to watch you blossom into the wonderful adults I know that you will become. So with your futures in mind, I hereby establish trust funds for Jacob Webber (Hudson West), Daniel Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), and Emily “Scout” Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante). Alexis continues, “ Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko), and any other grandchildren or great grandchildren at the time of my death”.
Alexis Continues Reading What Monica Has Bequeathed To Her Family Members
Olivia says to Michael,” I guess Daisy Corinthos (Evelyn and Brenden Beimford) gets a trust fund”. Alexis continues reading: “ To my niece Brook Lynn Quartermaine, I bequeath my pearl necklace”; Brook Lynn smiles as Alexis continues, “I know you will wear it with style and grace”.
To my talented nephew Ned Quartermaine I leave my classic vinyl collection and to his spicy wife Olivia, I leave my entire collection of gourmet cookware.
Olivia says “wow”. Alexis continues, “I trust they will make good use of them both; to my sister Veronica Bard, I bequeath one of my oldest and most cherished possessions.
Alexis hands her a small envelope, she opens it and out falls what appears to be an antique pocket watch but turns out to be a locket with a photo in it.
Veronica Gets Something Precious, While Tracy Gets Something Unexpected!
She asks what it is, as Tracy gets a snarky look on her face, hearing the question, her face implying the thought Veronica must be dumber than she thought.
Veronica opens the locket and exclaims, “Oh my God, it’s a picture of when we were kids, before we were separated; I can’t believe she still has this!”
Tracy has gone from grimacing to smiling, and says “So much for the gold digger’s wish for a windfall”-Alexis interrupts her. She continues, “And to my dearest sister-in-law and longterm sparring partner Tracy Quartermaine, I leave a very special gift-she hands Tracy a small box.
Tracy opens the box and exclaims, “What the hell is this?” as Michael and Brook Lynn look on with curiosity.
The Quartermaines Look At Tracy Who Is Seething Mad!
Alexis, Ned and Olivia all look at Tracy who looks mad-and then Tracy stands up and shouts, “Is this some kind of a joke?
She looks in the open box as she holds it, “There’s no further explanation in the will? Why did Monica leave me a jar of my mother’s relish?” Olivia says, “ That’s kind of odd, I would say it’s supposed to be a joke”.
Tracy continues ranting, “When my father died, he cut me out of the will and the only thing he gave me was a jar of Pickle Lila relish-Monica knew how much that hurt me!” Veronica is desperately trying not to laugh as Tracy says-“Did you think I’d find this a joke?”
Alexis Continues With The Reading Of Monica’s Will After Jason Shows Up
Jason walks in-and says, “Sorry I’m late” Alexis continues, saying – “Actually, you’re right on time, I was just about to read your part.” “To my beloved son Jason Morgan, I leave Alan’s favorite watch which was left to him by his father Edward”. She hands Jason the watch and then continues to read from the will. “Jason, I always said you and I missed out on so much together; but I hope this is a reminder of how I cherished every second I spent with you”. Jason opens up the watch case and looks moved as he looks at the watch.
Veronica Meets Jason, And The Quartermaines Are Stunned As Alexis Reads On
Veronica stands up, and shakes Jason’s hand, and “nice to meet you” is heard. Tracy interrupts with “ Ok, now that we’ve all said our howdies, can we get on with it?”
Alexis continues, “To my darling grandson Michael Corinthos the third, I bequeath to you my horses, my cars, and the family yacht.
And as for the rest, and the remainder of my estate, which includes the property at 66 Harbourview Drive, I leave it all to the cherished sister of my heart, Veronica Bard. Tracy and Veronica all say, “WHAT?” and Jason, Olivia, Ned, and Michael all look shocked, as well as Alexis!
