Asher Antonyzyn (Danny Morgan) on General Hospital debuted in October 2023. The young actor, who celebrated his 16th birthday in August, recently shared some throwback photos on the occasion of his second anniversary on the ABC show. Read on to see them.
The Throwback Photos
When Asher, who has been candid about his ADHD, shared his photos on Instagram this week, ABC fans appreciated them a lot. His long caption revealed how much he values being part of the daytime drama.
In it, he said:
I was just told that today is my 2-year anniversary of joining General Hospital and I thought it’d be cool to share a few photos from my first days working on the show!
Next, he talked about learning more about acting from his colleagues and how grateful he feels. Asher Antonyzyn added, “The past couple of years have been unbelievable. I’m still amazed that I get to work and learn from all these amazing actors, crew, and directors.”
Of course, he also thanked folks like executive producer Frank Valentini and others for his acting opportunity.
Controversial Cast Member React
One of the first blue-ticked cast members to react was Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain). He wrote in the comments, “I know Drew hates you but I love ya man.”
In the spirit of the day, Asher Antonyzyn replied with a laughing emoji, saying, “Back at ya Cam.”
Of course, fans know that Drew hates a lot of people. But his issues with Asher’s character come from his bitterness over the competition with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and the fact that Danny symbolizes Jason’s lingering role in the life of Drew’s daughter, Scout (Cosette Abinante).
