The New Boyfriend
Like her estranged son, Collin Gosselin, Kate got busy on TikTok. And that’s how she broke the news that she’s dating an old friend. According to her, it’s only recently that they dated. However, even Collin, who is writing a book, mentioned his doubts about that.
This week, his dad, Jon Gosselin, went full-on with his accusations that she and Steve Neild had an affair that broke their marriage. The news arrived via The Sun US, who had an exclusive interview with the dad of eight kids, who mainly has good relationships only with Collin and Hannah, two of the sextuplets.
The Accusations Against Kate
Jon moved on from Kate Gosselin years ago, but he still harbors a lot of bitterness. So, it’s no massive surprise that he had something to say about the new boyfriend. According to him, “I know for a long, long time, at least 17 years, that they have been canoodling or together.”
Furthermore, he claimed that “Our divorce didn’t end because I was cheating. Our divorce ended because I knew she was seeing Steve.” Angry that he is the one blamed for cheating and the breakup of their toxic marriage, he denied he ever cheated before he split from Kate.
Critics React
Usually, because of the allegations of abuse by Collin, who claimed she destroyed his career with the military, fans support Jon. But this time, when the outlet shared their article on Instagram, folks slammed Jon. Possibly, they simply tire of him always moaning about his ex, especially as he’s now engaged to Stephanie Lebo.
Perhaps it’s time for Jon to move on and get on with his new life. One critic slammed him, saying, “We don’t care. Get over it Jon.” Meanwhile, another unsympathetic follower opined, “Good for her. Her ex is the most bitter man. All he [does] is bash her for 17 YEARS.”
Kate Claps Back
So far, Kate Gosselin hasn’t reacted to the claims by Jon. However, she’s always been quick to clap back at the allegations by Collin that she abused him as a child. It will be interesting to see if his book alludes to any affair that might have helped destroy the life of his family.
