Fire country’s season 4 trailer reveals that Vince Leone (Billy Burke) doesn’t survive the Bueno Vista fire. However, miraculously, Sharon Leone (Diane Farr) and Walter Leone (Jeff Fahey) will survive. Bode Leone (Max Thieriot) will certainly have survivors guilt, but what else is going on in Bode’s head?
Vince Leone Was A Much Loved Character
Vince had been Battalion Chief at Station 42 for years. Everyone in Edgewater loved Vince and he was like a father for several people in town.
However, this is going to be the hardest on Bode, his son. Bode had spent years butting heads with his parent, especially his dad. Bode also allowed Walter to drag him back into the burning building to save his friend.
Bode has already battled so many demons and this is just adding one more. Max Thieriot added his thoughts on how the story is going to play out from here. Thieriot said,
“It’s certainly going to be sitting there pushing him, trying to push him over the edge, which is scary for someone like this. And I think the troubling part is that the way he’s trying to cope with it is he’s trying to put on this face of, ‘I’m OK, everything is OK’ … And as Bode does, he internalizes things when really he desperately needs to be letting it out in some way. And so he’s battling with himself over trying to be the man that his mom needs him to be and that the station needs him to be and his community needs him to be, while inside, there’s a little boy in there that’s really hurt and is really crying inside.”
Bode is truly at risk of spiraling out of control. However, so are Sharon and Manny Perez (Kevin Alejandro). Vince meant a great deal to a lot of people in town and will be greatly missed.
Things will get even worse for Bode when he comes to a point that he has to choose between Gabriela Perez (Stephanie Alcala) and Audrey James (Leven Alice Rambin) after the two of them compare notes.
Bode Leone Has A Lot To Deal With Now
Bode also has to deal with the fact that originally, Vince wanted to send Bode back to prison instead of having him working with 3 rock or 42.
However, Vince finally came around and wanted Bode by his side until he ended his run at 42. Vince was anticipating handing the reigns over to Bode in the future.
Bode knows that running 42 is his legacy and he is determined to end up following in his father’s footsteps. Will Bode finally get to be head of 42 or will there be some big hurdles to get through first?
