General Hospital spoilers say that a lot of fans can’t help but wonder what’s going to happen to Robert Scorpio now that his portrayer Tristan Rogers has passed away.
There’s the possibility that the character might get killed off or even murdered on the show, but so far the producers have not made any comments about what direction they might take this in.
Is Robert Scorpio Getting Killed off?
After all, Robert was a legacy character. Sooner or later they are going to have to say something about his death.
Not only that, but there’s also a good chance that there will be a tribute episode made in his honor, too. Getting the character recast seems to be very unlikely.
Of course, GH fans had a lot to say about where this might be going on social media.
Some even commented with, “Kill as in murder, no. Will the character die next year? Likely, I think.”
“I’m surprised they killed Luke off screen. At some point down the road if Anthony Geary passes, they can’t really memorialize him like they did for Monica and Bobbi.”
A Tribute Episode For Robert Scorpio
Another longtime fan of the show wrote, “It will be a while. Since Robert is off the show’s canvas, they could have him living in France with Holly and Sasha for a while.”
“Have to coordinate availability of Emma Samms , Kimberly McCullough and Jason Thompson, as well as Sofia Mattsson or a recast Sasha.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I have loved Robert Scorpio since his first day on the show. If ever there were a character who deserves to live forever, it’s him.”
“If I were in the show, I would just choose some time next year – an anniversary date for one of the times he saved the city from destruction.”
It goes without saying that General Hospital fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
