Let’s just say that he definitely doesn’t want this to be a part of his timeline. King Charles is clearly worried about his legacy and that’s one of the many reasons why he doesn’t want to see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle get a divorce. That’s because the entire world is going to talk about it so much that it’s going to dominate headlines for years to come.
King Charles Concerned Over Explosive Royal Divorce News
Of course, the King of England wants to see his son happy in his marriage. But at this point, it’s become pretty clear to everyone that Harry wants to pull away from Meghan.
He misses the UK terribly and wants to go back home and hopefully repair his broken relationships with his family, including his father and his brother, Prince William.
And while King Charles would love to have Prince Harry back in the royal fold – after all they could use all of the help that they can get right now – he also knows that Harry needs to be there for his wife and his two kids back at home.
The royal family has gone through just so much in the last several years that King Charles knows that a divorce will not only be a bad look for everyone, but it will also be devastating for the family.
Royal Family News: What’s Next For Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?
After all, King Charles knows the pain all too well first hand. His divorce from Princess Diana was a seismic one.
But then again, King Charles knows that his son has to be feeling really unhappy about his situation right now. But a divorce is probably not the right answer. He wants him to wait things out before ultimately pulling the plug on his marriage.
Because once it happens, there will be no turning back and even Prince Harry knows it.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
