General Hospital recaps for Monday, September 29, reveal Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) met Veronica “Ronnie” Bard (Erika Slezak), and Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) family finds out he’s alive.
Plus, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) breaks his bonds and escapes Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) basement.
Tracy Quartermaine Meets Ronnie Bard
Tracy insisted on finding out who the woman in the Quartermaine crypt was, and the woman introduced herself as Veronica Bard, Monica’s younger sister, here to pay her respects.
“But please, just call me Ronnie,” she said with a smile-Tracy frowned, recalling her name from when she had Monica investigated years ago. Ronnie seemed surprised that her sister had never mentioned her, and Tracy questioned her intentions.
Ronnie confessed that she and Monica had been estranged for a long time, but stated that everything changed when she received a letter from her sister. She explained that they had been in correspondence for about a year. (Make sure to check out our weekly GH spoilers, here!)
Tracy Wants Proof
Tracy sought evidence, feeling suspicious about her sister’s sudden appearance after 50 years, “circling like a vulture;” offended, Ronnie maintained that she had no financial interest in Tracy or her sister.
She merely wished to pay her respects and visited the crypt since the service was private. Tracy demanded that she leave the property, but Ronnie was eager to meet the family her sister had mentioned.
Tracy asserted that Monica had never spoken of her and clearly wanted nothing to do with her, but Ronnie countered that they had been separated as children’ They were into the foster care system, making their estrangement a matter of circumstance rather than choice.
Tracy Continues Giving Ronnie The Third Degree
She mentioned that Monica had moved on and had no space in her new life for her sibling, yet Ronnie had never asked her sister for anything.
Tracy praised her narrative and stated she didn’t believe a single word of it. “Monica Bard might have been your sister, but the little girl you recall grew up to be Dr. Monica Quartermaine,” Tracy asserted.
“She was a talented surgeon, she was a cornerstone of her community; too occupied with helping others to look back. So listen to me when I say, Ronnie… there is no place for you in her family’s future.”

Ronnie Threw It Right Back At Tracy
Ronnie resentfully told Tracy that Monica had described her quite accurately, but omitted how cold she truly is, and Tracy had been extremely cruel to Ronnie.
Tracy shot her a piercing glance and once more insisted she leave the property. As she was exiting, Ronnie paused to caution: “You know, Tracy-masks have a way of slipping, and I have a feeling that you may not be entitled to everything you believe you are”.
Ronnie continued, saying, “My heartfelt condolences on this very unfortunate day” before exiting the crypt.
Damien Spinelli & Felicia Scorpio Decide What’s Best
GH recaps for Monday’s show note that Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) attempted to keep the atmosphere light with James West (Gary James Fuller) during a meal at Bobbie’s, but the boy was feeling down.
Felicia sent him to the counter for dessert and observed that James was missing his mother. Spinelli remarked that they were about to complicate his life even further, and neither of them knew how to break the news of Nathan’s return to him.
Spinelli expressed a wish that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) was present, and Felicia assured him they would handle it together; when James returned to the table, he was anxious.
He thought that something had happened to his mom, but they reassured him that she was okay. Spinelli clumsily clarified that his father was alive, but James was skeptical.

Nathan West’s Family Learns He’s Alive
Felicia supported him, stating that James’s father was currently in the hospital following an accident and couldn’t recall where he had been.
James pondered whether his dad remembered him, and Felicia clarified that Nathan had passed away before he was born, meaning they had never met.
Spinelli reassured James that he wouldn’t have to meet his father until he felt prepared. Meanwhile, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) confronted Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) at the hospital, expressing their disinterest in reconciling.
Nina commanded them to cease their bickering and told them Nathan was alive-Obrecht was doubtful, but after learning that a DNA test confirmed the truth, she insisted on seeing her son.
Nathan Meets Willow Tait
Nathan met Willow, his nurse, who revealed she was his niece and shared that Nina was her mother and mentioned how his mom had saved her life through a bone marrow transplant.
As Willow left his room, there was a tense moment when she encountered Nina, who entered; Obrecht was shocked to see her son and broke down in tears, rushing to embrace him.
Britt appeared much less pleased. Obrecht inquired about his whereabouts, but Nathan couldn’t recall anything after being shot by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
Britt interrupted as Obrecht began to tell Nathan about James, insisting he needed to rest-Obrecht encouraged Britt to hug him, she did so awkwardly and said, “I’ll be back.”
He smiled at her as they exited the room, and once in the hallway, Britt seemed uneasy- then James came out of the elevator with Spinelli and Felicia, and Britt looked quite uncomfortable.

Anna Devane Gets New Evidence
Across town, While reviewing the evidence related to Drew’s shooting, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) received a call – Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) arrived.
Anna informed her that she had canceled her conversation with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) because the ballistics results indicated a new suspect.
She mentioned that the markings on the bullets corresponded to a gun owned by Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle). Justine pointed out that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Tracy were two suspects residing in the Quartermaine mansion, but Anna was not convinced that either was guilty.
As they discussed the suspects, they found it difficult to rule anyone out, and Justine even proposed that Willow and Nina might be involved together; Anna wanted a search warrant for the mansion.
Nina Tries To Make Up With Willow
At the nurses’ station, General Hospital recaps for September 30 reveal that Nina hesitantly attempted to engage Willow, expressing her gratitude for assisting with Nathan’s care, calling him “J” out of habit, which confused Willow.
She wished for a reconciliation, but Willow, with an icy demeanor, stated she wished to sever ties with her mother. Nina acknowledged this but reminded Willow that they relied on each other as alibis.
Willow then drew her mother aside, whispering to her that it was Nina who lacked a genuine alibi. Nina retorted that it was Willow who held the greatest motive.
Jacinda Bracken’s At The Quartermaine Mansion
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) visited the Quartermaine mansion to express their condolences to Michael regarding Monica.
He then introduced them to Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell). They engaged in some awkward small talk until Molly inquired about Jacinda’s connection to Michael, prompting Kristina to pull her brother aside to interrogate him about his ‘date.’
She revealed to Michael Jacinda was the escort who had spent the night with Drew while he was under the influence of ketamine, expressing her concern that she might be his next target. Michael reassured her that he had everything under control.

Jacinda Is Questioned
Meanwhile, Molly questioned Jacinda about her relationship with Michael, to which Jacinda replied that they were in the process of getting to know one another.
Kristina then took Molly away, and Jacinda confided in Michael that she was skeptical the women believed their story. Outside Bobbie’s, Molly informed Kristina that Jacinda’s presence during their visit to Michael was not a mere coincidence.
Kristina reminded Molly that Michael had previously dated sex workers, with the late Abby Haver (Andrea Bogart) being the first. Molly maintained that Michael had arranged this situation because she is employed by the DA’s office, and he was creating his alibi.
Meanwhile, at the mansion, Jacinda genuinely expressed her condolences to Michael but questioned whether his grandmother would approve of the arrangement he had set up with Molly and Kristina.
Michael hoped she would, but confessed he regretted having to do this on such a day. However, this was the only way Michael could be cleared as a suspect in the Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) shooting.
Jacinda had previously agreed to be his alibi for the night. They even arranged for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to walk in on them, after a staged night of sex.
Ric Lansing Fakes Out
Across town, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) woke up in Alexis’s basement to find Ava Jerome (Maura West) hovering over him with another pill, suggesting it would be much easier for him if he returned to sleep.
Reluctantly, he accepted the pill, and Ava informed him about Drew being shot and Willow being a key suspect. He pleaded with her to let him go.
However, she furiously told him it didn’t have to be this way; they were meant to be a perfect pair, yet he always preferred Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).
As he began to drift off, Ava slapped him awake so he could hear her boast about how they would soon reclaim all the money he had taken; “Sleep tight,” she purred.
Later, Ric spat out the pill and tucked it into his pocket, then frantically struggled against his restraints.

Ric Escapes
Finally, GH recaps note that upstairs, Alexis joked about how strange it was to find Ava in her house-Ava filled her in on Ric and asked about Anna.
Alexis mentioned that the appointment was canceled, which she saw as a positive sign; Ava wished the police wouldn’t investigate until they could secure the money and dispose of their captive.
Alexis likened their predicament to Drew’s shooting, stating they had to keep Ric due to the same vendetta that Kristina and Ava couldn’t shake off.
She insisted that once this was resolved and the money returned, they would move on; Ava agreed but doubted Ric would be as ready to forget.
Later, Alexis was on the phone with her assistant, going over her schedule, when Ric appeared from the basement behind her, lurking in the shadows!
