MCBRIDE TWIN 1 OF 2 IS HERE!

TL;DR: Donnell McBride arrives on Beyond the Gates October 1st seeking answers about his father Doug’s suspicious death and questioning his mother Vanessa’s relationship with Joey Armstrong, while his presence threatens to complicate the lives of Martin and Smitty’s teenagers.

Beyond the Gates Welcomes Alex Cheeks As Donnell McBride

Finally!!… Beyond the Gates fans get to meet one of Vanessa and Doug McBride’s twins, Donnell McBride, portrayed by Alex Cheeks. It’s too bad, however, BTG fans will not get to see Donnell interact with his father, since Dr. Dougie is now dead.

Set Your DVR, Donnell Lands on October 1st

Donnell McBride (Alex Cheeks) is back home from college and has questions. Out of nowhere, his father, Doug McBride (Jason Graham), is dead, and it isn’t adding up. Donnell and his twin sister Deanna had no idea about how serious their father’s gambling problem was, with a side of alcoholism.

They had to know that their father had left his job at the hospital, but how would they know how he had been filling his time? Apparently, at least Donnell knows how his mother, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli), has been spending her time, and much of that has been with bad-ass, Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom), and he has some questions.

Martin & Smitty’s Kids Beware, Donnell’s Influence

Martin Richardson and Smitty Smith’s (Brandon Claybon and Mike Manning) teenagers, Tyrell and Samantha (Jaclen Lucas Miller and Najah Jackson), best beware. When Donnell isn’t trying to uncover how his father was killed and who was responsible, he’ll have downtime at the Orphy Gene’s, and there’s no doubt he will bump into Martin and Smitty’s kids.

Will Tyrell acquire a new BFF? Or, will Donnell be competition for the girlfriend Tyrell has been spending time with here and there? What about Samantha? She’s boy-crazy and is working on moving on from her first crush. How will her grandmother, Nicole Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix), feel about Samantha exploring a romantic relationship with her friend Vanessa’s college-age son?
