There’s a good chance that they might be up to their old tricks again. Or at least, that’s what some palace insiders believe to be true.
Did Harry And Meghan Leak Details About The Royal Family Again?
Apparently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are being accused of leaking information about King Charles’s meeting with Prince Harry, that took place earlier in the month.
While a lot of people had assumed that it was the royal family that had briefed the media about what might have happened behind closed palace doors, that wasn’t the case.
Instead, it might have been someone from Harry and Meghan’s camp that is making the meeting sound better than what it actually was. That is, if they were the ones who had actually leaked the info in the first place.
One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Whoever is behind them seems to have mistaken a brief tea and a slice of cake for the Treaty of Versailles.”
“These syrupy briefings from supposed Sussex sources are precisely why The King and Royal family are so hesitant to embark on any road to rapprochement. If the intention is to encourage a rebuilding of trust and relationships, they serve the precise opposite effect.”
What’s Next For Prince Harry And King Charles?
If that weren’t enough, the meeting supposedly put a wedge between King Charles and Prince William as the heir to the throne has made it pretty clear that he’s none too pleased with the idea of his little brother possibly coming back into the royal fold.
In fact, if it were up to William completely, he’d probably forbid his little brother from entering the UK ever again. That’s just how much he despised him after all the times that Harry has thrown the royal family under the bus. But whether or not that’s actually going to happen remains to be seen.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space for more.
