He’s got a job and it’s a pretty big one. There’s a new report that says Prince William is going to have a major role in Donald Trump’s upcoming state visit.

That’s because he’s going to greet the President of the United States when he arrives at the airport the moment that he touches down in the UK.
Per Vanity Fair, “The Trumps are slated to arrive at Windsor Castle on the morning of the 17th, where they will be officially greeted by the Prince and Princess of Wales.”
“The quartet will then meet King Charles and Queen Camilla, who will receive the Trumps for a Royal Salute, fired from the East Lawn of Windsor Castle at the same time as a salute from the Tower of London.”
“King Charles, Queen Camilla and the Trumps will then be joined by Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Lady Starmer for a Beating Retreat ceremony on Windsor’s East Lawn.”
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even commented with, “Yet another reason for Harry to thank all the powers in the universe that he’s no longer on the payroll. You just know they would have stuck him with Trump-sitting duty. UGH.”
Another critic of the royal family wrote, “And yet, when Charles passes, William is going to be the one doing all the state visits in the future so who will protect everything then? I get he’s a mess but doesn’t he need some practice or something.”

And then there was this comment as well: “What’s the UK gov’t and the Foreign Office going to do when William finally takes the throne? He needs more practice but I can see having William not handle Trump now.”
