Carla Loses Her Cool

Next week, Carla will lose her composure regarding Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) as she expresses her doubts about Lisa Swain’s (Vicky Myers) supposedly resurrected wife! Carla has to pretend everything is fine when Betsy invites Becky for lunch.

However, when Becky attempts to take a bite of Lisa’s food from her plate, Carla’s unease is evident, even as Becky speaks of desiring some normalcy.

Carla snaps and tells Becky that her intentions are clear, and they don’t involve normalcy; consequently, Carla accuses Lisa and Becky of being delusional and storms out, arriving at the police station.

There, Carla informs Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) that she doubts Becky’s account and suspects there’s more to the story; and with Carla reaching her breaking point, how will Lisa handle the repercussions?

Bethany Returns

Bethany is back in Weatherfield, and it’s a hectic time for Kit as he interviews her at the police station, right when Carla shares her concerns about Becky with him.

At the station, Kit enters an interview room where Bethany is already waiting-she reveals that she left her job in London and took her boss’s car without asking.

After driving it to Manchester, she’s facing theft accusations, but can Kit help her out of this predicament? Later, Bethany confides in her mother, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), who is currently in a relationship with Kit, that she resigned from her job before being forced out.

She’s back for good, but how will her return affect her relationship with her ex, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), especially considering how he treated her?

Asha’s Turmoil Continues

Meanwhile, Asha sinks further into despair following recent events related to her traumatic experience; she is consuming a lot of alcohol, and Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) is concerned about her.

The next day, Asha observes the paramedics as she sits outside the hospital, feeling increasingly isolated. Sienna (Charlotte Tyree) visits the shop, and Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) discovers that Asha hasn’t returned to work, later confronting her about her dishonesty; embarrassed, Asha storms out.

By the end of the week, Asha conceals her feelings and tells Dev that she believes she made the right choice in withdrawing her complaint.

However, with Naomi’s (Melissa Batchelor) abusive actions having impacted her profoundly, how will Asha be able to move on?

Carl Stoops To A New Low

Carl sinks to a new low to keep his affair with Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) a secret. At the hotel, Abi informs Carl that she’s not in the mood for intimacy and is anxious about her birthday tea with Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes).

Meanwhile, Carl discreetly texts another lover, James Bailey (Jason Callender), as Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) catches sight of Abi with a hotel key and confronts her.

Abi insists she visited the hotel some time ago and forgot to return the card, but Debbie firmly states she doesn’t remember this.

Carl Gaslights Debbie

Carl then persuades Debbie that her dementia is the issue, leaving her feeling humiliated. Abi is disturbed by Carl’s coldness, but Debbie’s doubts resurface when she reviews some CCTV footage and sees Abi entering Carl’s room. Debbie pounds on the door, but will she catch them in the act?

It appears she will uncover the truth, as the following day, Debbie demands that Abi pack her things and leave the house, or she will reveal everything to Kevin. Will Abi’s treachery be uncovered?

Theo Sees A Face From The Past

Theo will confront a figure from his past. He hides his irritation as Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) mentions his commitment to assist Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) at the soup kitchen.

At the Bistro, Billy is taken aback to find Theo offering comfort to Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson); later, at the community center, Theo loses his temper with Todd and Billy.

While helping Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) set up tables, he accidentally traps his finger and yells out, prompting Todd to hurry for the first aid kit. Theo smirks with satisfaction, and the next evening brings another ominous twist.

Theo Disappears!

Theo and Todd go out for a night in the gay village with James Bailey (Nathan Graham), Mary, Sean Tully (Antony Cotton), Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger), and Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins).

However, when a man recognizes Theo and looks shocked, Theo glares at him until he quickly leaves.

Theo encourages Todd to dance with the group, while the man, Owen (uncredited), chooses to confront Theo.

Theo forcefully pushes Owen onto the street and tells him to back off, but who is this man, and considering that viewers know Theo is controlling, what did Theo do to him?

As Theo and Todd get into an argument, Todd becomes anxious when Theo fails to come home after storming out. A man named Jake brings Theo’s mobile phone to Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) at the Kabin, leaving Todd unsettled-where is Theo?

Jenny Takes A Liberty

Glenda informs Jenny and Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox) that she plans to manipulate the dating night so that Jenny has the first opportunity with George, instead of Christina. However, as the night progresses, Rita contacts Jenny to inform her that she has fallen.

George arrives with soup for Rita, but Jenny has exaggerated the severity of Rita’s injury and redirects him. Brian discloses that Rita only has a sprained ankle, but how will George respond? Jenny feels guilty and apologizes to Rita for misleading George into thinking she was seriously hurt.

Jenny Confesses

As Jenny confesses that she liked the attention, will Rita be able to forgive her, or has she ruined their relationship? With Jenny preparing to leave the cobbles, will she do so on unfavorable terms?

Meanwhile, Glenda tells George that she has compiled a list of Christina’s advantages and disadvantages, but Christina shows up and takes the list from her.

Should Glenda be cautious about Christina? Can Christina be trusted?

Tyrone Returns Home

At last, Tyrone returns home from the hospital as he continues to recover, still unaware of who inflicted his injuries. After weeks in the hospital due to the hit and run that resulted in serious spinal injuries, Tyrone is back home.

Although he has regained some sensation in his legs, the journey to recovery and physiotherapy will be lengthy. Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine) brings Tyrone home in a wheelchair, where he is welcomed by Debbie, Brian, and Carl.

However, it is Carl who has concealed his involvement after hitting Tyrone initially-will Carl ever feel the weight of his guilt?
