It’s time for Fire Country fans to get excited. CBS has officially premiered the first trailer for Fire Country Season 4, which will premiere on the network on October 17 and begin streaming on Paramount+ the following day. The trailer shows Bode (Max Thieriot) attending the funeral of his father, Vince Leone (Billy Burke), who was feared to have passed away in the explosive Season 3 finale. Fire Country Season 4 will premiere at 8 pm on Friday, October 17, as part of CBS Premiere Weekend before it shifts back to its normal slot at 9 pm the following Friday.
Fire Country follows Bode Leone, a young convict who searches for redemption via a prison release firefighting program in which he and other inmates are partnered with elite firefighters in Northern California to fight massive, unpredictable wildfires. The risks have never been higher for the inmates in this program, but it runs even deeper for Bode, who is assigned to his rural hometown, where he was once the all-American golden boy. Fire Country is inspired by Max Thieriot’s real experiences growing up in Northern California fire country, and Thieriot has also earned a producing and writing credit for his work on the series.
The Fire Country universe is also expanding with the release of Sheriff Country Season 1, which will debut alongside Fire Country Season 4 next month on October 17. The new series stars Morena Baccarin as Mickey Fox, and it has been confirmed that both shows will interweave together to create a connected universe. Neither Sheriff Country nor Fire Country has been renewed for seasons beyond what’s going to air next month, but both are expected to be picked up barring an unexpected viewership drop.
What Happened at the End of ‘Fire Country’ Season 3?
Fans were stunned at the end of Fire Country Season 3 when Vince and Sharon were left trapped inside the Buena Vista care center while the roof collapsed as the season came to a close. The new Season 4 trailer recognizes fans' worst fears, confirming that Bode's father Vince died in the blaze. Bode promises to protect his father's town following his passing. The first two seasons of Fire Country are streaming on Netflix, but those who want to keep up to date with the latest episodes when they premiere will need a subscription to Paramount+.
