DOOL SHOCKER: BELLE BLACK TARGETS WRONG DIMERA IN EXPLOSIVE ELEVATOR SHOWDOWN!

TL;DR: Belle Black confronts EJ DiMera during Salem’s citywide blackout over Brady’s corporate troubles, but Tony DiMera is actually running the Titan war while EJ focuses on his hospital acquisition.

Hold onto your remote controls, DOOL fans, because Belle Black is about to make the mistake of a LIFETIME!

And we’re not talking about her usual questionable judgment calls here. (Though let’s be real, she’s made plenty of those…) No, this time Salem’s newest DA is so blinded by her protective big sister instincts — and maybe something else? — that she’s pointing her perfectly manicured finger at the completely WRONG DiMera brother!

IS BELLE BLACK ACCUSING THE WRONG DIMERA?

Yes, Belle Black is absolutely targeting the wrong DiMera brother when she goes after EJ DiMera for Brady Black’s corporate nightmare.

Here’s what’s REALLY happening: While Tony DiMera has been orchestrating an all-out assault on Titan Industries since early September, EJ has been laser-focused on his University Hospital acquisition. Talk about a case of mistaken villainy! Belle’s so desperate to protect her brother Brady from the DiMera family’s latest scheme that she’s completely missed who’s actually pulling the strings.

And honestly? This is SO Belle. Remember when she was married to Shawn Brady but couldn’t resist EJ’s charms? The woman has a long, complicated history of letting her emotions override that fancy legal training. Now she’s trapped in an elevator with the man during Salem’s convenient citywide blackout, and she’s about to unleash all that misplaced fury on him.

But here’s where it gets JUICY…

WHO’S REALLY BEHIND THE KIRIAKIS FAMILY DESTRUCTION?

Tony DiMera is the mastermind destroying the Kiriakis empire, NOT his brother EJ!

Since early September, Tony has been running a brutal corporate war against Titan Industries. He’s got Gabi Hernandez working as his inside agent, causing chaos from within. The pressure’s been so intense that Xander Cook and Philip Kiriakis have been “flipping out” trying to counter his moves. Even Maggie Kiriakis — Victor’s widow herself — has had to confront Tony directly to protect her late husband’s legacy!

Meanwhile, what’s EJ been doing? Meeting with PR executive Stephanie Johnson about his hospital plans. That’s right — while Tony’s demanding control over BOTH Titan and DiMera Enterprises, EJ’s been discussing press strategies and hospital renovations.

The guy’s literally been in completely different meetings!

WHAT HAPPENS IN THAT ELEVATOR?

Oh, this is where things get REALLY interesting, soap fans!

Picture this: Salem’s plunged into darkness. The power’s out citywide. And wouldn’t you know it, Belle and EJ find themselves trapped together in an elevator. (Classic soap opera move, writers!) She’s LIVID, ready to tear into him about how his family’s corporate war is destroying her brother Brady’s life.

But EJ — master manipulator that he is — has all the facts on his side. Can you imagine Belle’s face when he calmly explains that she should be yelling at Tony, not him? That his focus has been entirely on the hospital project? That she’s got her DiMeras mixed up?

The professional basis for her anger? GONE.

Which leaves… what exactly?

Just two former lovers trapped in a confined space with nowhere to run.

🔥 WHAT’S NEXT FOR BELLE AND EJ?

Could this confrontation reignite the passion between these two? Don’t be surprised if sparks fly once Belle realizes her mistake!

Given their history — and we ALL remember that affair that destroyed Belle’s marriage — being forced into such close proximity during a crisis is basically a recipe for soap opera romance. Once EJ dismantles her accusations and she’s left standing there, embarrassed and emotional, in the dark (literally!)… well, we’ve all seen this movie before, haven’t we?

If I know these writers (and after decades of watching, I think I do), this “mistaken identity” corporate drama is just the excuse they needed to throw these two back together. Belle’s misplaced anger isn’t a plot hole — it’s the whole POINT!

This could also mean EJ finally has to deal with what Tony’s been doing to the Kiriakis family. Will the DiMera brothers end up at war with each other? And here’s a wild theory making the rounds: What if that’s not even really Tony but André DiMera in disguise? It wouldn’t be the first time!

WILL BRADY FINALLY FIGHT BACK?

Brady Black might finally step up and honor his Kiriakis legacy now that he’s caught in Tony’s crossfire.

Poor Brady — always the victim, never the victor. But being the target of Tony’s corporate assault while his sister tries to protect him might FINALLY push him to channel some of that ruthless Kiriakis blood. His grandfather Victor didn’t build an empire by playing nice!

The real question is: Will Brady figure out what Belle hasn’t? That Tony’s the real enemy here?

Because if Belle’s legal skills are this rusty when it comes to identifying the actual villain, maybe Salem needs a new DA…

Bottom line? Belle’s about to learn a very embarrassing lesson about jumping to conclusions. But knowing soap opera logic, that elevator confrontation with EJ is going to lead to something much steamier than legal accusations.

Mark my words — by the time that power comes back on, these two will be looking at each other VERY differently!
