TL;DR: Traci Abbott has finally returned to Genoa City. However, how long will her latest stay at the Abbott Estate be this time? Will she be in town long enough to pass around another dose of her gracious love and problem-solving? Or, will she be gone again before Y&R fans know it?

Aunt Traci’s 1st Night Back in Town, Unlikely Catching Up

Sweet Aunt Traci (Beth Maitland) arrived back in Genoa City to ask for a rain check after Jack and Diane Abbott(Peter Bergman and Susan Walters) invited her to join them for dinner, only to get rain checked back by her dear friend, Amy Lewis (Valerie Pettiford), at Society.

What in the actual soap opera hell? Amy just lost her son, Damian Kane(Jermaine Rivers), after he was shot in the South of France by one of Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) associates, who has since shot himself. Also, why can’t Y&R fans see this friendship onscreen?

Instead, Traci has reconnected with Cane at Society after just learning that not only was he posing as the infamous yet fake Aristotle Dumas, but he’s back in Genoa City with an unsavory agenda. Cane’s guy killed her friend Amy’s kid, yet she was sweet and reminisced with Cane.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Traci Abbott even had a kind exchange despite both being traumatized by Martin Laurent and touching base on where they’ve been and how far they’ve come and still have souvenir nightmares from their experiences. 

Phyllis also caught Traci and Cane’s cute catch-up after they were supposed to be having dinner. Who knew it was rain check night in Genoa City on Y&R?

Traci Abbott is ‘Team Everyone’ & Billy Boy Needs It

Everyone’s favorite Aunt Traci is the sweetest, even in dire need, and after she has been through so, so much. Coincidentally, her baby brother Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is on his 110th demise of his adult life and Tracimight be his last hope.

Smilin’ Jack Abbott  has not had anything to smile about when it comes to his brother, & let again, Jack has claimed to cut off Billy. Well, Young & the Restless fans have seen that before. There has to be some compromise that sweet Traciwill get Jack & Diane on board with as a last attempt to save Billy from himself and hurting the people he loves.

4 Funerals & a Wedding! Now Traci Abbott is BACK!!

It’s been a sad time in Genoa City. Residents have been dropping like flies, and just one of them got an on-screen funeral, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). Traci has been in New York, and there have been funerals in Genoa City and one each in Chicago and in L.A. Did Traci attend of them? Well, not the ones in Genoa City, but she’s back in Genoa City just in time for a wedding in Genoa City. Her longtime friends, Danny Romalotti and Christine Blair (Michael Damian and Lauralee Bell), are getting married again on Young and the Restless.

Traci will be as happy and as supportive as ever, but when does she get to be happy for herself?
