Neil highlighted their “ill-advised friendship with Jeffrey Epstein,” which casts a long shadow over the institution. He pointed to a specific event that allegedly firmed William’s resolve. At a recent funeral for the late Duchess of Kent, “the disgraced Duke of York, Prince Andrew,” attended.
A picture showed Prince William and Andrew together, which allegedly left William “very, very…fuming.” Neil claimed that lip readers observed Andrew attempting to engage William in conversation, but William pointedly avoided him.
According to a behind-the-scenes source, William “didn’t want anything to do with it” because he knew “any conversation would be lip read” and used against the family. The incident caused William to “draw a line under that particular situation.”

Sources suggest that a scheduled meeting addresses the issue “this coming Wednesday inside a royal palace.” William, in Neil’s opinion, thinks about both “his future and the future of the monarchy.” After all, he learned a great deal about protecting the institution, from his grandmother, “the late Queen Elizabeth.”
